Lia bug is such a funny girl! She’s full of personality and is happy to meet new people. This week she worked hard on her commands showing how smart she is. She knows all of her commands with both verbal and hand signal cues. She listens really well and seems happy to please. Her inmate trainer says that it’s hard to believe time is winding down. She’s going to miss sweet Lia!
Lia had a fairly good week. The thunder shirt provided to her helps quite her quicker when she is in her kennel. She is working hard on loving her alone time in the kennel. In time she will learn it is a good place and that her human is nearby!
Outside the kennel, Lia loves to be her inmate’s shadow. She follows her everywhere she goes. And she loves ice as a treat!
Lia has a slight obsession with books and paper. She does listen when you tell her to “leave it”. And she is spoiled rotten. Everyone loves her and say Lia is their favorite!
She has such an amazing personality and is so much fun. Her inmate trainer has really enjoyed training her this session.
Lia and her inmate trainer have had a great week! They’ve been working on kennel by letting her lay inside with the door open, using treats to build positivity for quiet time. Lia enjoys playing with the other dogs.
This week the inmate training teams took a field trip to a local baseball field where they got to watch the dogs run and have fun. Lia teamed up with Rio and they played beautifully together.
Lia has become best buds with Speedy! They love playing together.
Oh sweet, sweet Lia! Lia has such a kind sweet passive personality, you can’t help but love her to pieces. She’s a human magnet. Everyone wants to love on her. Lia is very smart. She knows her basic commands forward and backwards. She learned “say your prayers” in 1 week.
Lia is a fun energetic girl that calms easily and will do anything for a treat. She loves to go for walks and is easy on the lead. She loves to visit with everyone.
Lia is such a sweet passive girl. She knows when it’s time to eat and will let her trainer know. She plays very well with the other dogs and people. When Lia gets excited, she will run from bed to bed and corner to corner and and will spin in circles on the beds until she wears herself out and plops down on the bed.

Lia the social butterfly prefers to be out and about with her humans. She loves to visit with everyone. Being in the know is important after all. She prefers to be able to see her inmate trainer when she’s spending time in her kennel. Lia has no problem reminding her inmate trainer when it’s time to eat. It’s amazing how they know how to tell time! She’s unsure of the loud radios and rolling carts so her inmate trainers are working to help her feel confident around those loud noises. She does great with other dogs and some have even stolen toys right out of her mouth without her reacting! Her inmate trainer says that Lia is going to make a wonderful pet.
Lia is such a sweet girl! She loves people and enjoys spending time with her primary inmate trainer. The inmate training team are working to give Lia time with other people. She’s not been a fan of the officers, but it seems to be more about their loud radios. They’ve been busy working on extra commands this week and she’s catching on quickly. Her inmate trainer says that she’s having fun Lia!
Lia loves morning playtime! The humans call it training, but Lia is certain the treats and toys make it fun like playtime! Lia has learned so much during “playtime”! She already knows most all of her commands with verbal and hand signal cues. This week they are working on “leave it” when another inmate trainer is walking around with treats for other dogs. She also got to run around the large field this week and meet other inmates. Her inmate training team says they are super proud of this sweet girl!
After breakfast Lia likes to take a nap. You know, it’s important to let the food digest. After a good nap she’s ready for a bit of training and a play session. She’s already learned bed, down, sit, and heel. She loves to play and has an adorable silly side. She’s a loving girl and she’s always up for a good cuddle. Her inmate trainer says that it’s easy to fall in love with this irresistible sweetie!
Pretty girl Lia had a great first week getting used to her new surroundings and meeting her trainer. Her personality is already starting to show. She is an affectionate girl and does a great "visit”. She doesn’t mind getting hugs around the neck.
Lia is a foody. She loves her food, meal time, treats and snacks. Training should go smoothly being very treat motivated. She already knows hurry, let’s go, release and wait. Lia likes to keep an eye on her trainer when she’s in her kennel. She is doing well for the first week and her trainer is looking forward to the week’s ahead.
