Best Friend For Life

Salami is the sweetest most loving boy. During his time at the prison Salami has come a long way from his shy withdrawn greyhound he came in as. Some greyhounds take longer to acclimate to their new surroundings and Salami is one of them. Once he does, he’s your best friend for life.

He loves his new command “open the door”. Salami will stand there and wait for you to give him the command, looking so cute, wagging his tail the whole time. Some of his favorite things are going outside, napping and getting treats. His all time favorite thing is when it’s time to eat.

Everyone Loves Salami

Salami has had another great week.  He really is a sweetheart and loved by everyone.  He is doing so much better meeting new people.  His trainers are so proud of him. 

This week Salami learned a new fun command “open your door”.  He knows how to open his kennel and he will go in and wait patiently for his next command.  Salami loves to give and receive morning loving.  He gets so excited that his whole body shakes.  Salami’s trainers are so very proud of all he has accomplished during his stay.

Kennel Dancer

Salami continues to do an amazing job with his commands!  His inmate trainer says that he’s eager to please and just an all-around joy to be with.  He’s a lazy guy who enjoys naps in his kennel as well as rubs and scratches.  Food, especially peanut butter, are on the top of his favorites list.  He’ll dance in his kennel when it’s time to eat and it’s the cutest thing ever!  His inmate trainer says that she’s enjoying watching him come out of his shell and embrace new things.

You're Going To Love Salami To Pieces!

Salami continues his awesome journey of getting ready for his forever home. He is a very sweet boy who has random bursts of energy. He loves to dance for his food and it really is the most adorable thing to watch. Salami loves his nap time with his pillows and a blanket. He even enjoys snuggling with the other greyhounds. His trainer said watching him play is such a joy, as he’s so goofy.

Salami is doing a great job with his commands. His trainer is so proud of all of his progress. She knows his forever family is going to love him to pieces.

Nap Time!

Salami is such a handsome boy! He has become more playful and more open with getting new people. His trainers are very proud of him. Nap time is one of his favorite activities. A true greyhound. Salami continues to do better with his commands in silence and is eager to please. He is such a loving boy and a greyt companion. His trainers love working with him and they hope Salami brings his forever family the same love and joy he has for them.

Time To Eat

Salami has had another great week. He loves going in the tv room and chilling on the large beds. He always knows when it’s time to eat. His trainer said it’s so cute and they say he’s dancing. They have been working on his commands in silence with hand signals and he is doing good. Salami continues to love his kennel as well as his pillows. He is still a little shy meeting new people, but he is really coming out of his shell. Salami’s trainers love him.

Pro Lounger

This week Salami’s playful side has came out. He is such a funny boy to watch play. Salami is still somewhat stand-offish when meeting new people, but he is doing so much better. He loves to lounge on the large dog beds and pillows. Salami hides his face when he goes to sleep. It’s super cute! His trainers are so proud of his progress over these past four weeks.

Salami Is A Sweetheart

Salami has done amazing this week. He is working on taking commands from other primary trainers. Salami does very good around the other dogs. He enjoys his outside time walking around. Salami loves his kennel, but will now lay comfortably on a bed in the hallway. Salami is such a sweetheart and is the most adorable big guy to have around. His trainers love him and know he’s going to continue to do great.

Proud Of Salami's Progress

Salami has started to do his commands in the hallway with all the noise and distractions. He is still a bit shy, but is improving a little more each day. Salami is very laid back, but when he plays with his toys his silly side comes out. His trainer said it’s the most adorable thing to see. Everyone loves him. He is such a sweetheart. His trainers are so proud of his progress and they can’t wait to see everything he will accomplish as he becomes ready for his forever home.

Snack Lover

Salami’s first week has been greyt!  At first he was a little standoffish, but each day he becomes a little more confident.  His inmate trainer says that he’s a loving boy and a joy to work with.  He’s a quick learner and loves snacks!  His inmate trainer says she can’t wait to see his training progress and his personality emerge!
