Goodbye and Hello

The final week has arrived and Justice’s inmate trainer says that he has to come to terms with the fact that he’s going to miss Justice more than he thought.  He says that Justice is one of the sweetest, most fun, and loving dogs he’s ever been around.  He says that adding this sweet girl to your home is going to be like adding an angel from heaven to your family.

Justice has mastered all her commands and is very obedient.  She will do anything for treats, but loves a good old fashion rub behind the ears just as well.  Her inmate trainer says that he hopes that Justice’s new family will shower her with love and treat her like a queen!

Man's Best Friend

This past week was "Swap Week".  This is where the trainers are assigned another dog to see how they do with commands and being away from their primary trainer.  Yoshi's inmate trainer was blessed with having Justice to keep him busy. She had no problems doing all of her commands for him.  He said they had more fun than an 8 year old kid at Chuck E Cheese's!  She was so much fun to have around.

Justice is lovable, playful and (when allowed) very energetic.  She is very intelligent, very obedient, and is always willing to return affection as much as accept it.  She is definitely "man's best friend."  Her "swap week" trainer has no doubt that whoever her new owner happens to be, they will find her to be an exciting addition to their family and home.

As the week draws to a close with Justice, and she returns to her regular trainer, and then on to her forever home, she will take a piece of her trainer's heart with her.  It has truly been a pleasure to have shared this short time with her.  She will be missed.

Amazing Future

Justice here to go over the events of the week.  I know all of my commands so at this point we’re just running through them (meaning I'm eating treats).  My inmate trainer has requested that I learn to shake.  He says it’s a form of greeting in the human world.  Wonder why y’all don’t greet each other the way we do it’s all about the nose anyway.

I got to play with the Greyhound puppy this week.  She’s just the cutest little thing you’ve ever seen!  My inmate trainer says that I have a big heart that’s full of love.  I admit I do like to give and receive love and attention.  If this forever home business is anything like my inmate trainer talks about my future is going to be amazing!

Leader Of The Pack

Justice did very well this week on both of her tests, so she feels she's ready to spring this joint.  She seems more interested in running in the big yard and is the leader of the pack.  All the others seem to follow right behind her.

She's an ace when it comes to doing her basic commands and extras.  Justice keeps improving every day, and will be terribly missed by her trainers.

Bathing Beauty

Hi everyone! This is Justice letting you know the low-down of my training in week six. Where has the time gone?  I will be leaving here soon and I hope I have as much fun in my new home as I have had here.

My trainer says I am such a smart dog and I know all my basic commands with hand and/or verbal signals, and a few extras.  They are just getting me to perfect them now.  I know "belly".  Who knew that all I have to do is show it and I get petted and loved on.  I think I'm in heaven.

I love to jump around for my toys, so now he says "bounce" and I jump and get a treat.  How cool is that?

My trainer is teaching me another extra command, "shake".  I'm not too sure about this one yet.  He says I'm a smarty pants and I will figure it out in no time.

I got a bath this week and it was very relaxing.  They scrubbed me head to tail with soap.  I didn't even mind them washing my face.  But please remember, only warm bath water for this great girl!

Adding A Little Bounce To Your Day

Another phenomenal week in the books for Justice! She learned the new command “bounce”! She used to want to jump for her toys so her inmate trainer incorporated bounce into her training so she would only do it on command.  She knows all of her commands with hand signal and/or verbal cues.  She’s mastered the “belly” command as well.  We're certain the great feeling of a tummy rub had nothing to do with this command - HA!

Justice’s inmate trainer says that Justice is truly a great dog. She’s happy and loves attention. He says that hanging out with her makes life much better!

Can't Help Falling In Love

Justice is now sitting on her own with no help from her inmate trainer!  She has also learned the command “bow”.  She knows it so well that she will not stop doing it! She knows all of her commands with verbal or hand signal cues.  She’s a little slower responding to “release”, “down”, and “jump” but her inmate trainer knows that she’ll have these figured out very soon.

Her inmate trainer says that Justice enjoys playing with the other dogs and toys and hasn’t shown any signs of aggression.  He says that she’s a great dog that you can’t help but love!

Eat. Sleep. Play. Repeat.

Justice is getting it done this week!  She is doing much better with "sit", and her focus is improving.  She is showing no aggression at all to dogs or people.  Justice readily shares her toys, bed, and water bowl.  She will also give or drop items on command.

Justice loves to play!  When she is tired of playing, she will run back to her kennel, get cozy, and take a nap.  This retirement business is right up her alley.

Crossing Milestones

This week Justice has crossed many milestones!  She loves kibble and is entering her kennel upon request!  She has a newfound love for a toy her inmate trainer named Tuna.  It’s a blue and yellow squeaky fish that Justice will do anything for!  Her inmate trainer is proud to report that Justice has also followed through with the “bed” command!  She’s also getting the hang of doing other commands like “heel” and “wait”.  Her inmate trainer believes that she’ll have these figured out in no time!

Justice’s inmate trainer says that Justice is an energetic girl, but she has to be comfortable with you before you see this side of her.  She’s a sweet loving girl who loves to have her sides and ears scratched.

Taking A New Path In Life

Justice is settling in well in her new surroundings.  She’s been learning her name as well as “sit,” “kennel,” “here,” and “heel.”  Her inmate trainer says that Justice is a sweet girl who is full of energy and happiness.  She enjoys walking and does really well with leash correction.  She’s showing interest in toys and hasn’t met a stranger yet! She seems to pick up really quickly on training so her inmate trainer is looking forward to seeing how far they go!
