Well Behaved Boy

Willi's swap week went well.  His trainer for the week said he knows and performs all of his commands.  He's a gentle, sweet, smart, well behaved boy, that is not protective of his food or toys.  Willi doesn't have a mean bone in his body.  He's a sweetheart.

Willi is not a fan of loud noises or big crowds, but has improved since arriving.  Prison life is not for everyone.  LOL. His trainers feel he will relax and settle in well, when he gets to his forever home around his loving and caring new family.  Willi can't wait!

Tail Wagging and Fun Running

Willie is getting a little bit more active and playful. He's wagging his tail more as the weeks have gone on and he's starting to really enjoy running with the other dogs in the big yard. He has been doing his commands for different people this week and he does really well with brushing his teeth and cutting his nails. Tune in next week to hear how swap week went!

Hey Willi, Catch!

Willie is doing great this week. He is playing more with toys and doing well around people. He loves to wag his tail and he's been working on playing catch. His trainer has been throwing kibble for him to catch in his mouth. He seems to be happiest at 4:30 in the morning when he knows it's going to be time to greet his trainer and go for a walk.

Loving And Laid Back

Helloooo to all my fans and followers.  I'm sure you have heard that things are going well with me at the prison.  I'm a smart dude and know all my basic commands.  I'm a little slow responding to "hurry", but hey, I'm a little shy guy.  So if they would stop staring at me...

If you are looking for a loving boy that's laid back and gentle as they come, then I'm your man...  I mean greyhound.  Pick me for your next pack member.  I will fit right in.  Adopt me!

Tail Wagging at Playtime

Willi is still unsure of his surroundings when he is outside of his kennel, but he is starting to come around a little especially in the mornings when he goes out. He wags his tail and wants to play! He's been working on sit, stay, heel and here this week, and he also did stairs again and did really well with them.

Willi is doing really well with sit, down, wait and jump.

Lengthy Learner

Willi is still a little unsure and nervous of things around him now but he is getting better. He's been working on heel, down, sit, and bed. He's not really a big fan of running and likes to trot around a little bit and then just hang out. This week he tried stairs and he did really well! Tune in next week to see what he has learned and what adventures he's enjoying.

A Whole New World

Willi is a big, beautiful dog with big brown eyes! He has been a little bit nervous in his new surroundings, but hey, who wouldn’t be? Willie seems like he will be okay in a few days after he finishes smelling everything and develops an olfactory map of the place. So far he’s worked on learning his name, and how to heel, wait and down. That’s all for now, so tune in next week to see how he’s doing!
