Simply Irresistible

Jake’s inmate trainer says that she’s so very proud of this handsome boy!  He’s come a long way since his arrival.  Positive feedback with praise and encouragement have gone a long way to help him settle in.  He knows all of his commands and performs them with confidence.  He can get distracted easily especially when he’s a little unsure of his surroundings, but with gentle encouragement he comes around.

Jake would sit next to his primary inmate trainer for hours on end.  He is a gentle, quiet and affectionate boy.  Consistency goes a long way with him and helps him feel more confident.  His inmate trainer says that Jake is simply irresistible in his quiet manner. 

Wonderful Boy

Jake remains a little cautious when around loud areas.  When the inmates are gathered in groups around the exit doors waiting for recreation yard call they can get a little loud.  Jake isn’t crazy about passing through the group on his way to potty.  He is gaining more confidence every day and his trainer is very proud of him.

Jake does really well with a consistency and does great with positive praise.  He really likes going through his commands on a soft pillow.  His best eye contact is when he’s relaxed.  The goal is to help Jake gain confidence around loud noises.  His inmate trainer says she believes that Jake is truly a wonderful boy.  He’s beautiful inside and out.

Ready For Retirement

Jake is still coming around to this loud environment.  His inmate trainer told him that retirement will be different than training.  He seemed to like that idea pretty well.  Jake is the kind of guy who prefers a relaxing environment.  He likes to people watch and enjoys positive praise and consistency.  His inmate trainer says that Jake has a super sweet personality and is doing well with learning his commands and how to exchange a response for a treat. 

Willing To Learn New Things

Jake is a brave guy.  He is willing to learn anything you have for him.  He enjoys playing with the other greyhounds and is alert to everything around him.  He has a shy side and can get a little distracted by things, but corrects well.  Sometimes if the distraction is especially interesting, he’s a little more reluctant to return focus.  Consistency is key with this sweet fella  His inmate trainer says that working with Jake makes the days go by faster and she’s enjoying her time with him.

Jake Loves To Investigate

Jake is a very studious and alert boy.  He’s attentive of all things new and loves to investigate his surroundings.  He’s not a big fan of loud noises.  It seems to make him feel overwhelmed and prefers a quiet relaxing place like his kennel.  Jake is a quiet guy whose happiness is infectious,

Jake does best with consistency.  He can get a little distracted when training but he’s learning about regaining focus.  He’s doing great with his commands and enjoys playing with his fellow hounds. Once Jake warms up to you he’s warm and affectionate.  His inmate trainer says that Jake is a great boy and that she’s enjoying watching him learn and grow. 

Improving Every Day

Jake is doing so much better getting acclimated to his new surroundings. He is facing his fears head on, and improving every day. His trainer is very proud of his progress this past week. He is learning his commands. He knows most of them fairly well already.

Jake is very charming, observant and extremely quiet. He enjoys playing outside with his fellow greyhounds. He is a very happy boy when outside on the big yard. His trainer loves to see him relaxed and wagging his tail when laying out in the hallway watching and taking everything in.

Learning New Things

Jake feels the most safe in his crate right now.  His inmate trainer says that Jake will stick his head out of the kennel to check things out.  He’s very responsive when presented with his leash.  He gets excited, wondering where he and his trainer are off to.  He loves to run and play and always has time to receive attention.  His inmate trainer says that she’s looking forward to watching Jake grow and learn new things!   

Handsome Boy!

Jake is a handsome, quiet, sweet boy. When his trainer reaches for his leash, Jake gets excited and starts wagging his tail, ready to go wherever his trainer takes him. He’s not a fan of loud noises right now. His kennel is his safe place and when in doubt, he heads to it.

Jake is on the right track with his training and is already trying to “sit”. His trainer is looking forward to training Jake and seeing his full personality blossom.
