Attention Hound

For the past week Jax has been staying with another trainer to see how he does away from his primary trainer.  It's called swap week.  It's like a sleep over for the Greyhounds!  Jax did awesome.  He did not whine, bark or show any signs of separation anxiety.  He did all of his commands for his alternate trainer.  He will do anything for food.  He loves food.  Jax will go through all of his commands on his own before you ask, hoping for a treat.

Jax is a funny dog.  Wait till it's feeding time or you give him a treat he really likes.  He will blow out his cheeks or chatter his teeth in anticipation.  It is too cute!  Jax is also a very friendly dog.  His tail is always wagging when he's meeting and greeting and getting loved on.  He loves all of the attention.  An attention hound he is!

Jax likes to chase and toss toys around.  He does tend to hog the ones that makes noise and chew on them, so supervision is a good thing during play time.  Jax is such a good dog and I know you will enjoy having him in your life.  He is your new, found, forever friend!

I Will Steal Your Heart!

Jax has been playing and running with his Greyhound pals as graduation nears. He loves playing with the stuffed toys in the training room - he'll throw them in the air and then catch them in his mouth. He performed all of his commands for his secondary trainer splendidly and does a great job being a sweet little guy when off leash in the dorm. Graduation day is almost here, and he can't wait to nuzzle up to his new family.

One Puppy Hug, Please!

Jax is still doing really well! He's performing his commands for all of the different people he's met, and plays great with other dogs. He is such a loving boy and loves to be hugged. He's a playful, laid-back dog with a lot of life to live and lot of love to give. He's even laid-back off leash and will walk right next to you. Our guy Jax is certainly one special guy who you are going to fall in love with the second you meet him.

Neck Scratches, Please!

Well, Jax is doing well this week! His inmate trainer took the time to hand feed him a couple of days as a little experiment, and he's still showing no signs of food aggression. What a laid back guy! He loves running around in the yard and playing with the other hounds in his class, and he's looking forward to graduation. It's only a month away, and then he's bounding straight into your heart!

By the way, Jax really likes to have his neck scratched. He will lean right into it on either side. What a ham!

Pick Me!

Jax is doing really good with his commands.  He will be a pro in no time.  He had stair training and had no trouble going up and down them.  He doesn't mind a hug around the neck and he's all for a belly rub or ear scratching.  He loves dinner time and has no food aggression whatsoever.

Jax is a very loving and loyal boy and is ready to be your couch potato.  That's what greyhounds do best and Jax is no exception.  He will steal your couch and heart in no time.  Jax says "Pick Me."

Roaching King

Jax is improving every week with his commands.  He will have them all mastered in no time.  He's a playful greyhound and loves to run and play on the big yard with the other dogs.  He is a very sweet boy and has no food aggression whatsoever.  His inmate trainer can pet him while he's eating with no problems.

Jax seems to be enjoying the greyt life of retirement and settling in to the prison routine.  Jax loves to roach.  His inmate trainer says he does this quite often.  Jax is sweet, smart and oh so graceful.  He is the roaching king.  Take a look...
