Clark Does The Bunny Hop

What a joy Clark is! Clark’s swap week trainer said Clark is a very timid and shy dog at times, but when his playful puppy side shows up, he’s adorable and fun. He does what she calls the bunny hop when he gets excited and wants to play. Clark LOVES treats and will do any command you ask. He will also do his commands for a toy, but a treat is the way to his heart.

Clark will whine in his kennel when he needs to go potty or feels like he needs your attention. He plays very well with the other dogs. He will share toys, water, love and affection. Clark’s favorite toy is his “kong”. He loves it with or without treats.

Cheerful Guy

Clark is a great guy who loves to go through his commands!  He’ll even follow through without treats!  He enjoys laying around on big pillows and watching TV with his inmate trainer.  His inmate trainer says that Clark has really let his happy side come out, showing his love for playing with toys and general happiness for life.  She says that she’s truly gong to miss this cheerful boy, but hopes he finds much happiness with his new forever family.

Clark Is The One For You

Clark has fun doing his commands as well as playing with the other dogs in the dorm. Clark will do his commands in silence (hand signals) and without treats. He gets real playful with the other primaries when they run through his commands. He gets so excited to do them.

Clark lets his playful side come out more as he gets to know you. He doesn’t mind going into his kennel and will sleep in it with the door open. He is such a great dog and his trainer is going to miss him so much when he leaves.

Forever Home After The Holidays

Clark is a great dog all the way around. He is super food motivated, loves to work for his treats and loves to show off his skills that he has learned. Clark’s puppy side has really started to show when he gets to play with toys. He loves toys!

Clark is so smart and a very loving dog. He’s the complete package and his forever family has won the jackpot on this boy!

Dreaming Of Fluffy Beds And Lots Of Treats

Clark is such a great dog! He is a fast learner as well as an eager and excited dog to get his commands down pat. He likes the treat reward that follows, but doesn’t mind doing it for his favorite toy either. Clark is learning a few extra commands. He knows “say your prayers”, “which hand”, “kiss'“, “shake” and is working on “bang, bang” and clean up your toys.

This week the greyhounds were in a parade that went around the whole compound. They were dressed as Santa’s reindeer. Clark wore jingle bells around his neck and did great being around all the people. He’s going to be a great dog for any family.

All Around Greyt Boy

Clark has really come out of his shell!  He’s learned all of his commands!  His inmate trainer says that she still goes over sit with him because his first reaction is to go into the down position.  He gets excited when it comes to treat time… errr training time.  He loves treat rewards!  He shakes with both paws and loves to say his prayers.  He enjoys playing with the other dogs as well with his toys.  His inmate trainer says that he has a great temperament with the other dogs and is just an all around great boy!

Amazing Boy

Clark is one smart boy! He’s happy and loves to play with squeaky toys.  He enjoys doing his commands in exchange for a yummy treat or play time with a squeaky toy.  He and his inmate trainer have been working on the down command this week and he nailed it in one day!  He already has many commands figured out with both hand signal and verbal cues!  His inmate trainer is very proud of this amazing boy!

Pro Lounger

Clark has come to love his kennel. He wasn’t a fan of it when he arrived, but he doesn’t mind it now. This week Clark and his trainer have been working on sit, here, release, bed and wait. He was a little slow to “sit”, but he’s getting the hang of it.

Clark is a very loving dog and he enjoys laying on the big pillows watching tv as well as the back of his eye lids after his training sessions.

Where's The Squeak In That Toy?

This week Clark and his trainer are getting to know each other and work on a few commands. He knows, wait, release, hurry and his name. Clark is a little shy, but once he warms up to you he wants to have eyes on you all the time.

Clark loves to hang out on the big pillows and watch tv. He loves squeaky toys and will hunt down the squeak. Clark is not a fan of his kennel right now, but his trainer is working on that and feel by the time he leaves he will love it. More updates next week.
