Yummy Chicken!

Monty is a sweet, loving and shy boy. He knows all his commands and some extras. Monty is a silly, sneaky boy. He sniffs around, finds random things to take to his bed and waits for his trainers to find them. He will put his ears back and lets you know he’s been up to no good. LOL Monty is really cute. He loves chicken a whole lot! He smells it and it drives him crazy. Monty will sniff around until he gets his trainer to give him some.

Your Next Forever Best Friend

Monty loves hanging out with his trainers. He will lay around, want them to pet him and just chill when he’s in their room or the tv room. Monty wags his tail at them and his circle is getting bigger every day. He even lets them pet him. He will go up to them, but on his terms. He is so cute! His trainer said he is going to be just fine when he gets settled in his forever home.

Monty gets along very well with the other dogs too, even when they don’t like him. He is oblivious and loves to come out of his kennel to greet them. He is such a good boy and his forever family is going to love him. Give Monty time and patience and he will be your forever best friend.

Cute Boy With A Handsome "Honey Badger Face"

Monty loves the training room and his trainer’s room. These are the most quiet places at the prison and Monty seems to feel at ease. He is doing very well with his commands. He is not a fan of “sit”, but his trainer is working extra hard with Monty on it. His trainers know he will do so much better and be just fine in his forever home without all load noises and people coming and going. Please be patient with Monty. He is a cute boy with a handsome “honey badger face” He is a great dog and will blossom in time. Gettin to know Monty is worth the wait.

So Adorable!

Monty definitely loves his primary and secondary trainer! He wags his tail at them when he gets out of his kennel. His favorite places are his kennel, his trainer’s room and the training/play room. He will relax and sleep in these places. You can even catch him “roaching” or at least trying to roach. Monty is shy, funny and oh-so cute. In his kennel, he stays tucked in the back. He is a nosey boy and likes to listen and keep an eye on everything going on around him.

Training is going well. He has learned quite a few of his basic commands and some extras too. Monty doesn’t play with toys very much. He sometimes will grab a toy or something hanging off of the bed. He is very gentle and his attention doesn’t last long. Monty likes to run in circles. He does them outside, but his trainers use the word “stop”. He listens really, really well when executing his personal circles and is told “stop”. Monty is so adorable and his trainers feel he will do so much better at his forever home without all the distractions they have at the prison.

Monty Sure Is Cute!

Monty’s inmate trainer says Monty sure is cute!  He enjoys hanging out in the TV room relaxing and contemplating retirement.  He likes to be in the know with everything going on around him.  He’s doing great with his commands.  He loves attention and will stand all day for a good coat brushing.  His inmate trainer says that she’s having a great time with this sweet boy! 

Mellow Monty

Monty is a shy guy. The hallway has become a place he is more confident. He is curious and enjoys coming out of his kennel to explore the hallway. Monty tends to shy away from strangers and loud noises, but is doing better than the first week. He enjoys lounging around in the training room. It’s his favorite place. He loves to greet the other dogs and they seem patient with him.

Training is going good. He knows “down” really well. Monty is a sweet boy and his trainers are looking forward to watching him blossom during this training session.

Shy, Sweet Boy

Monty is a sweet dog.  He’s working to adjust to this new environment with so many noises and people.  For now, he prefers to be in his kennel, but comes out easily when requested.  His kennel is his safe place.  He enjoys laying there and watching everything going on around him.  He’s played with toys a little, but not much yet.  His inmate trainer says that she can’t wait to see him come out of his shell!  She says he is absolutely adorable and sweet!
