This was Shasta's last week with us. She is just so loving and sweet, you will really enjoy her so much. She loves chewing on bones and lying in the kennel, and she loves to just chill on the couch. We will surely miss her very much and we hope you enjoy your new loving greyhound!
This week was swap week and Shasta's alternate trainer said she was a pleasure to have. She is extremely smart and such a fun greyhound to have around. She knows all of her commands and extras very well and will perform them for anyone. Shasta truly enjoys her time spent on the big yard running as much as she loves toys! She is a blast to watch.
Shasta also enjoyed all the attention she received from her "swap week team". She is an amazing greyhound and will adapt to any home she goes to live in. Shasta is truly a delight!
This is week 8 and Shasta knows everything. Right now, she's working on extra commands like kiss, bang, and spin. She is so sweet and loves to be loved on and play with toys. She also likes to run around and today was a big day for her. She did excellent in front of everyone when she was doing her commands. She showed everyone how smart and awesome she is!
It's been another great week with Shasta. She knows all her commands, she loves playing fetch and willingly gives up her toy every time.
She has discovered a new enemy in her kennel. She attacks her bedding and blankets every afternoon, which always draws a crowd. She starts by growling and pouncing on her blankets, she play bites on them and shakes them in her mouth. Then she does the same with her bed! She never rips any of it and when she's done, everything is in a corner and she lays on the hard plastic, feeling triumphant. It is so funny and it is the highlight of the day for anyone who has the pleasure of witnessing this spectacle. Her trainer will truly miss this one-of-a-kind dog.
Shasta is a very sweet and loving dog. She loves to be loved on and she is very smart. She and her trainer are having a good time and she is learning how to do extra commands already. Can you guess which ones? She's quite the love bug, so "kiss" is on the list. She loves to run in the big yard and play around. She also loves toys, and has no trouble giving them up.
The session is already half over, can you believe it? It has gone by so quickly with loving little Shasta. She is a never-ending source of entertainment. The whole dorm loves her to death and she also had her first testing session with the director of Second Chance and did very well. She performed all of her commands perfectly. She's going to be the perfect Christmas gift for one lucky family, and the picture perfect pup for every Christmas card after that.
Shasta is more adorable every week, and she's just so loving, funny and full of personality. She does all of her commands on cue and mastered the stairs this weekend, continuing to grow from a racer to the ideal family pet. Her trainer has no doubt that she will bring a lifetime of happiness to whoever adopts her.
It's been another productive week with Shasta. She grows more confident with all of her commands each day. She had her first test in front of everyone this past week and did every command on the first or second try. She has such a loving and carefree personality, and nothing really bothers her. She greets everyone with a wagging tail and eagerness to please. Her trainer said that if he could leave here today, she would be the one he would take home with him. She will be such a loving, loyal and obedient pet for years to come. Pick Shasta!
It's been a great full week with Shasta. She loves to roam around the dorm off leash, exploring and meeting everyone. Her tail is always wagging and her best friend is whoever pets her next. She's discovered that squeaky toys are not scary at all, and are quite fun to fetch, toss into the air, and chew.
Her training is going very well. She has a basic grasp of all the basic commands and loves any type of treat as a reward. She loves running on the big yard and always comes to her trainer when she is called. She's just as happy chilling in her kennel as she is chasing herself around in a circle in the training room. She has such a full personality and will make an entertaining and loving addition to anyone's family.
It's been a wonderful few days with Shasta. She is a beautiful deep red brindle that is full of personality! Her tail is always wagging! Shasta is friendly, obedient and she is picking up on her commands quickly. She has made herself right at home.
Shasta loves to run on the big yard with all the other Greyhounds, and has shown no signs of possessiveness of her kennel or dog bed. She loves to be loved on and will look at you with her beautiful eyes and paw at you if you stop. Her trainer said it's going to be a complete joy to work with her over the next 10 weeks. Shasta is going to be a wonderful companion to share the holidays with. Could she be yours for the new year?
