You'll Fall Head Over Heels For Pia

It’s Swap Week!  What is that you ask?  Well, it’s when the trainers swap dogs for the week to work any training challenges and to see how the dogs do away from their primary trainers.

Pia’s alternate inmate trainer says that she’s been a real delight to take care of this week.  She passed her command test with flying colors.  He says she’s so sweet and lovable that he fell head over heels in love with her immediately.

He says that his favorite part of taking care of Pia was watching her run in the big yard.  She’d run straight to the volleyball court so she could play in the sand.  She’d run around in circles and dodge around her trainer having a blast.  When tired she’d flop down on the ground and roll around scratching her back and fully enjoying herself.

He says that Pia is amazing. She’s playful and loveable.  He says that you’ll not be able to resist this girl!

Here Comes Pia

Pia’s time with her trainers at Jenkins has been amazing. Her basic commands are won & done. She’s fulfilled her requirements to graduate from SCG Academy. Pia is ready for the next step in her career… Forever home.

Pia is a playful girl and loves to be out and about visiting everyone in the dorm. She also enjoys sand. She will run and roll around in it, reminiscing the good old days at the track where there’s lots of it.

Pia’s trainer loves the energy and joy she gives to everyone. He’s sad to see her leave, but happy to know that she will have a family of her own. Get ready for a lot of loving from Pia. Accept it with open arms.

See You Soon!

This week Pia’s training team has worked on changing up the schedule.  They worked on extending her crate time to which she has adjusted well to. Before hand she was accustomed to being out and about many times throughout the day with her inmate trainer.

Her inmate trainer says that Pia loves to play.  She’s doing fantastic with all her commands and has been a joy to train!

Easy-breezy

Pia’s week has not been all that exciting, but it was productive. She learned her commands at record speed, so now her time is spent making sure she knows them to a “T”. Her trainer is working on pet etiquette with Pia. This isn’t much of an issue, since she is fairly obedient during most situations. Her most stubborn times are at feeding times. She is so excited and ready to eat, that she almost doesn’t acknowledge the simplest command. That is a work in progress.

Pia has been a breeze to work with and her trainer is sure she will be a joy to have in your home. Have you fallen in love with Pia yet??

The Total Package

Pia is doing fantastic and is continuing her road to success. Her trainer is so proud of her! They worked on stair training and her trainer is glad to say, it was just too easy. He didn’t think she would perform a “jump” on the first try, but boy was he wrong! She had no problems. Pia is great at matching people’s energy and will feed off your energy. If you are confident in her ability to do something, she’ll do anything with ease. Her trainer is proud of our little hound as she continues to learn and do what it takes to make a greyt pet! This week, like all weeks, has been amazing. Her trainer is looking forward to teaching her new commands so she can keep showing off to everyone how smart she is!

Tail Wagger of happiness!

Miss Pia has had an excellent week!  Her inmate trainer says that she’s a fast learner and continues to show everyone how fantastic she is!  She’s been on a toy discovery and the squeaky toys are very interesting.  She loves to investigate new things and being out around the humans.

She seems to like the training gig or perhaps it’s the treats…  She’s a big fan of the attention she receives for a job well done.  She’s full of tail wagging happiness and her inmate trainer says he can’t wait to see what she learns next.

One Of A Kind

Pia’s inmate trainer says that Pia is fantastic!  He says that you can’t help but smile around her and she’s always full of surprises. She waits patiently for her inmate trainer to wake up, then her tail starts flying with happiness.  He says that this girl is very smart and loves attention.  She loves squeaky toys and kibble.

She’s doing well with her commands and her inmate trainer believes she’ll have them all down pat in no time. Pia is a special, beautiful and a one-of-a-kind girl.

Bright Gal

This first week has been great with Pia. This awesome hound is full of energy and joy. Her trainer has found that one great characteristic of her is that she's very loving. This beautiful gal is full of surprises and with every one of them that emerges, you'll come to love her even more. She enjoys being out of her kennel and exploring, and her trainer loves to watch her explore, especially when she finds something that makes her particularly curious. She has a lot to learn, but hey - it's only been 4 days and she's a very bright hound!
