Bubblicious

Bubbles and her trainer have spent this past week just enjoying each other’s company before she moves on to her forever home. Her trainer is going to miss her “Bubblicious” girl, but she is also so excited for all the new experiences she will have. Bubbles has been such a joy to train and spend time with these past 9 weeks.

Right before leaving Bubbles took her final training test, and passed with 100% for all of her commands, as well as a few extra tricks.

Little Miss Sassy!

SWAP WEEK IS HERE! Bubbles’ new trainers for the week found spending time with her very exciting and joyful. They discovered that she is very “Sassy” and enjoys telling you her input.

Bubbles is happy to do her commands and extras for treats as well as for love and attention. She really enjoys tug-o-war, playing with the large Nerf ball, tennis ball and running with the other dogs.

All the trainers agree that Bubbles is amazing, sweet, lovable, sassy and smart. She is a gal that knows what she wants and they would enjoy spending more time with her. She is a calm and laid back happy girl and showed no signs of stress when being away from her primary trainer. Bubbles continued to eat normally while visiting with everyone else and seemed to do well with separation.

Great Cuddle Buddy

Being able to bond with Bubbles has been such a blessing to her trainers. Her personality fits her name perfectly. It is like she knows the days that you need an extra smile or a little more up lifting. She also considers her the perfect study partner, but she can’t help but love on Bubbles instead. She loves all the attention.

It is the cutest thing watching her run because she hops like a deer with her back legs. She is incredibly smart and makes a great cuddle buddy. If you are looking for a dog to bring love and life into your home, Bubbles is it!

As much as her trainer doesn’t want her to leave, she is ready for her to meet her forever family. Sometimes she playfully barks in her sleep and it makes her trainer think of babies and how they coo and make noises.

Her secondary trainer has really enjoyed working with Bubbles as well. She has been a great comfort and gotten her through a lot. May God bless Bubbles and her new family.

Bubbles Wants all of the Attention

Over this past week Bubbles has proved to know her commands and respond to a stranger when asked. When you need to keep her attention, treats and/or a toy are the solution.

After playing with a ball and other dogs outside, she enjoys cooling off in front of the fan while eating ice. She enjoys lounging around on the big dog beds out in the day area. Give her a few toys and she is good to go. Her family will enjoy watching her play and amuse herself. it is funny to watch her when she is having a wild playful moment.

Her trainer is going to miss the smile Bubbles always has along with her sweet and playful moments. She is a great pet already and can only imagine how she will be at her new home. Bubbles will also be a wonderful therapy dog. She is very gentle but does tend to get jealous with attention, wanting it all for herself.

Bubbles knows all of her basic commands and so many extras as well, such as “Show Me Love,” “Kiss,” “Spin,” “I Love You” and that is just the beginning.

Her personality is amazing for sure. She is very sociable, loving, energetic and laid back. Her trainer is continuing to work with Bubbles on her fear of floors that are shiny. Slow and steady with plenty of patience and love.

Bubbles is going to make her new family very happy.

Mornings with Bubbles

If you are in the market for an alarm clock, some comedy, or more exercise, look no further! Bubbles has got you covered.

If there is a squeaky toy to be found when Bubbles wakes up, she will make sure you are awake too, not long after. Her trainer recommends maybe keeping squeaky toys out of the bedroom when you bring Bubbles home ;). When it’s playtime, she will dig her nose all the way down into the toy box to find exactly the one she is looking for. It’s a treasure chest of toys, ready for Bubbles to explore.

She also loves running around with the other dogs, and taking long naps in the big dog beds.

A Big Sweetheart

Bubbles had learned some fun and exciting new tricks this week! After four weeks of not making a sound, she got really excited about playtime and began to bark at her trainer. They were able to use that to teach Bubbles the tricks “Speak” and “I Love You” (3 barks in a row). She’s super cute!!

Bubbles is finally going up and down the stairs like a pro, and aside from her fear of the shiny waxed floors is a calm and confident dog. Bubbles is improving on the floors. She’s definitely an early bird, who doesn’t want to sleep through anything interesting that might be going on. She’s got a squeaky toy in her mouth from dawn till dusk, unless she’s taking a nap.

Bubbles brings so much joy to her trainer’s life, and always keeps her on her toes. Everyone around her laughs at her bright personality. Her eagerness to learn makes her trainer excited to teach her as many commands and tricks as possible in the remaining weeks.

Doing Greyt!

Bubbles is doing really great! She is both welcoming and loving. You can’t help but love this girl!

Bubbles enjoys being outside in the fresh air and doesn’t run for too long before she decides to lay down in the cool shaded grass. Bubbles is a playful girl, but calms down quickly. She is doing well on the stairs. She can hesitate sometimes going up them, but is doing much better every day. She pretty much knows her basic commands and also knows kiss, show me love and spin.

Her trainer has really enjoyed working with her and knows you are going to enjoy having her in your life too.

Center of Attention

Bubble’s trainer describes her as smart, energetic, and loving. She is mastering her commands quickly and easily as she is super eager to perform, whether it is for treats, toys, or just attention. Since she already has a pretty good grasp on her commands, her trainer is going to start introducing new tricks into their training routine as well.

Bubbles prefers to be downstairs where all the action is or outside playing than alone in her room. She enjoys laying around, but wants to be where she can get attention. She just loves being petted and loved on by anyone who will give her their time. She also enjoys playing with squeaky toys and chasing a ball outside.

Bundle of Joy

Over the past week Bubbles had really opened up and shown her “bubbly” side. She enjoys all the attention she’s getting from the inmates and staff, and won’t hesitate to slide up to someone to steal some love. She loves playing with toys and jumping in rain puddles, but once she lays down you can barely get her up. All she wants to do is lay her head in your lap and sleep.

Bubbles is learning her commands quickly. She already knows what the words all mean, so now her trainer is working on making sure she responds to them every time. Stairs are still a learning experience for Miss Bubbles, and she is a little nervous on the waxed floors, but she’s working on overcoming her fear like a pro.

Bubbly Bubbles

When Bubbles came off the truck, her trainer was amazed at how beautiful she was.  She is a little shy right now, but oh so sweet!  Bubbles did well when walking into her new environment. She walked around checking everything and everyone out.

Bath time was easy with her and she did really well with her ear and teeth cleaning.  Bubbles has adjusted wonderfully to her new temporary home.  She does great in her kennel as well as the room.  Bubbles enjoys affection and to be loved on non-stop.  When you stop giving her affection, she scoots closer.

Her trainer said that Bubbles is very smart and catches on quick when training.  She is very food and treat motivated, so training should be a breeze.  She only touches her toys when she is unhappy or bored.  The stairs are a bit challenging for her, but she is making good progress with them daily.

Bubbles allows her personality to really shine when outside and she gives her name true meaning.  After adjusting fully to the inside, she will be an all-around bubbly girl.

Her trainer is so excited to share the next 10 weeks with her and will spoil her with love!
