Titus is so very fun-loving and always playful. He's the happiest greyhound his handler has ever had! He loves everyone and gets along very well with other dogs, including doing OK with the little ones he has encountered, though he will sometimes stare at them. He is such a great and wonderful greyhound, always full of love. Titus loves to run and play with toys, mainly tennis balls. He will also sit forever and watch the inmates play tennis; he's so amazed by the little green ball! He is careful with shiny floors and shadows in the gym area. He's great at his commands and has learned sit, down, stay, here, heel, shake, bed and wait. He climbs stairs just fine. Titus has no problems with being groomed or manipulated and he loves to be bathed. He loves marshmallows. He also loves to be loved. He has such a great personality and is full of laughs. Everyone will miss this wonderful little guy and he will always have a special place in their hearts.

Titus loves to chase toys and play fetch. He really enjoys balls. He'll perform his commands anytime and anywhere on the compound. His occasional leash pulling is improving. Titus has been a wonderful greyhound and will be missed very much. He's always very happy and playful and is such a joy to have around.

Titus is such a great dog. He's always very playful and full of love. Titus enjoys running around the field chasing after his toys. He's great at playing fetch and will bring the toy back and drop it right at your feet. He's also doing great on all his commands and does fine on the stairs. He does his commands for anyone. Sometimes he gets a little excited on the end of the leash, but with a firm correction he will heel. Titus is such a blessing to have around and his handlers love him very much.

At training, Titus is doing great with all the new inmates that are trying out for the greyhound team. He responds very well to everyone and does all his commands. He's such a very well behaved greyhound and is doing wonderfully. He's fun-loving and very playful and has a great personality. He gets along great with everyone and with all the other dogs. He still sometimes slips on the floor, but has gotten a lot better. Titus is a very good dog and he deserves the best family out there! He will show nothing but love and great manners.

Titus loves everyone and just loves to be loved and hugged. He'll walk up to people to get petted. He also gets along very well with the other dogs. He's such a friendly, outgoing boy, very active and playful, and has a really big personality! He's very smart and learns quickly. He does really well with all his commands, with only stay needing a little more work, though it's getting much better. Stairs are no problem. Sometimes he does try to take control, but a firm correction gets his attention! He did great with everyone who is trying out for the Second Chance training team. Titus is such a great greyhound, always playful and loving.

Titus has been doing great in both of his home dorms! He's doing very well on all his commands and will perform them anywhere on the compound. His stay is currently only a couple of minutes long so far, but he and his handler are working on making it longer! And he is still getting used to the newly waxed floors, focussing really hard on his feet whenever he tries to walk on a shiny surface, so that's another area for more practice. Titus is such a fun, playful and very loving greyhound. He has such a great personality and has even become one of the favorites on the compound.

This past four days, Titus has been staying with his "other mom" in her dorm and has done really well with the change. He had tended to try to run back "home" again and even mark in the kennel there when he just came for short periods, but now that he's overnighting and there for longer, he's settled right in without any issues at all. She's been keeping him very busy and his commands are coming along beautifully. His side sit has been straightened and he does advanced heel now, as well. He hasn't quite mastered the sit/wait and down, but is getting there. This affectionate boy has shown how well he can adapt this week and is doing great.

Tetus is a friendly, outgoing greyhound who shows a lot of affection. He's doing well with his training and progressing every day. He's a quick learner. This boy is quite impish and he will try you, to see what he can get away with! When he does that, a little more firmness works well and he will follow through on whatever he has to do. Going down stairs he is quite nervous, so he and his handlers are working together on his overcoming that. Tetus has two handlers and this coming week he'll be spending time in the other dorm where this affectionate boy will no doubt be in heaven being loved on and hugged around the neck by everyone in his "second home" there.

Titus is a very happy Greyhound, from the moment he wakes up until he goes to sleep.  Since his handlers have begun his training, he has responded very well.  He started out side sitting which they are working to straighten out.  He will get it.

He is a great dog, is so much fun and is full of energy!! He loves to be loved on and will try to sit in your lap if you let him!

He is learning really fast. It takes him a moment to respond to his commands but he always follows through. His handlers are quite proud of their progress in only a week and a half! 

First Impressions - 07/28/13

KB's Peacekeeper, now called "Titus", came in wagging his tail and is happy as can be!  He is such a love bug! 

His first experience with the tile floors was quite traumatic with alot of slipping and sliding but now he goes all over the dorm and rec with no issues at all. 

Titus enjoyed his first bath, ear cleaning and nail trim - all with grace!  He thought everything felt really good!  Now, he is squeaky clean and ready for the next nine weeks! 

His handlers are enjoying him already and look forward to his training!
