Lazy Girl

Kai is doing wonderfully as she settles into her new surroundings! She's a sweet, calm, and happy girl who enjoys spending time with people. Although she's been a little lazy the past few days, she's eating well and enjoying her walks. She's slowly building trust, forming bonds, and becoming more comfortable with affection and attention. Kai is showing her gentle personality more each day! 🐾❤️

Listening Skills

This week Kai has learned to listen to her inmate trainer more and more. She is quickly overcoming her shyness and is learning that by listening, good things come to her ie treats and lots of love!

She is loving her toys and peanut butter treats. Her inmate trainer will sometimes slip her a piece of his hamburger! No, she isn’t spoiled, not at all!

Acclimation Time

During this first week, it’s a time for Kai to become acclimated to her life in a prison setting for the next ten weeks.

So far she is settling in very well, has conquered the stairs and is getting used to the routine which she seems to love.

That and getting to know her new inmate handler/trainer! More to come in the weeks to come!
