Here Comes Lily!

Lily’s inmate trainer says that Lily has flourished during the training program.  You can’t help but fall in love with her.  Lily can be a little clumsy when she’s not focused.  It’s not polite to laugh, but…  Lily’s inmate trainer says that Lily has a way of making you feel like you’re the only person in the world!  

When Lily plays she does so with vigor.  She loves positive praise and just seems to enjoy life! 

Sweet As Pie

Lily… she’s happy, affectionate, loveable, and loves adventure.  She enjoys starting her day quietly, enjoying the day area on her fluffy pillow with her inmate trainer.  It’s kind of like the equivalent to coffee in the mornings for humans.  Her inmate trainer says that Lily is curious about everything.  She loves to explore.  She loves to give and receive affection.  Her inmate trainer says that Lily is the highlight of her day.  The staff adores her and they’ve all enjoyed watching Lily grown and learn through the training process.  

Lily will interact with her fellow greyhounds for a short period of time, but seems to be just as happy playing on her own.  Her inmate trainer says that she feels certain that Lily’s new family will agree that she’s sweet as pie!

Counting Down The Days

Lily is a sweet observant girl. She seems to want to know the why of most things. Her inmate trainer says that everyone who comes in contact with Lily instantly falls in love with her. She loves toys, television and yard time. She seems to enjoy her grooming routine and spending time with her trainers. She likes to hang out with her trainer early in the morning when it’s quiet. They go to the day room where Lily relaxes while her inmate trainer reads before getting the day started.

Lots Of Fun To Be Had

Lily is a sweet girl who thrives off positive praise.  She’s a very observant girl who can get a little distracted while training, but she does really well with redirection.  She’s an affectionate girl who you can’t help but love.  Her inmate trainer says that she enjoys watching Lily run and play in the yard.  She enjoys a quiet relaxing morning.  She’ll lay on the bed and watch her inmate trainer do her daily detail.  Her inmate trainer says that she can just picture Lily drinking a cup of coffee and watching her favorite TV show.  

Lily knows her commands with hand signal cues.  She can be a little slow with the stay command, but that’s just because there’s lots of fun to be had.  Her inmate trainer says they’re working on this and know that she’ll follow through for the duration soon enough.  

Eager To Please Her Human

Lily had an exceptional week!  Her inmate trainer says that Lily is very enthusiastic, lovable, friendly, and works hard to please her humans.  She’s energetic and looks forward to learning new things, playing and eating of course!  She’s an observant girl who enjoys keeping a close eye an all things around her.  When she’s tired she likes to find a quiet place to relax and take a nap.  She responds well to consistency and firmness.  

Lily did a great job at Show and Tail this week!  It’s where the inmates and dogs go over commands in front of the group.  She seemed to really enjoy the attention!  

TV Watcher

Lily is an energetic girl who loves life!  She likes to know what’s going on around her, which means she can get distracted while training.  Her inmate trainer says that consistency is key with the sweet girl.  She does well with redirection when needed.  She’s affectionate and never meets a stranger. She recognizes her kennel as her safe place.  Her inmate trainer says that Lily is very intelligent and seems to watch her surroundings and the people in it.  She may be keeping a journal.  

Lily enjoys watching the TV and eating is always a good thing.  She’s not too crazy about toys, but when she finds one she likes she’ll keep it in her space.  She loves praise and seems to glow with pleasure when she receives a “good girl.”  

Affectionate And Lovable

Lilly’s a sweet girl who can be exuberant at times and shy other times.  Her inmate trainer says that Lilly is eager to learn with excellent eye contact.  She can be a little strong willed sometimes, but can be convinced with a yummy treat.  She’s learned that her kennel is her safe place.  You’ll find that she loves to watch TV and relax.  Running and playing are at the top of her list of best activities.  When needed, she responds well to consistent and firm redirection.  She loves to eat! She’s affectionate and loveable.  

Smart Girl

Lily!  She’s an energetic, playful, eager, intelligent, loving and affectionate girl who can sometimes have a shy side.  She’s learned that her kennel is her safe place .  Her inmate trainer says that they can’t help but laugh at Lily’s antics.  She does a great job with eye contact.  She interacts well with her fellow greyhounds.  She loves the start of a new day and is an early riser. Her trainer is working on leash etiquette.

Slow & Steady

When you’re shy with social butterfly tendencies your name might be Lily and you may have just started training for retirement.  Lily’s inmate trainer says that sweet Lily is affectionate and learning that meals are served in her crate.  Her inmate trainer says that Lily has a fierce intelligence behind her eyes.  She even ventures to demonstrate this intelligence from time to time.  

Lily loves food and enjoys the reward side of training.  They’re taking things a little slower with training, since she’s unsure of her new surroundings.  They want her to have fun and enjoy training. She’s doing really well with the sit command and they’re actively working on leash skills.  Her inmate trainer says she can’t wait to see Lily grow and come out of her shell!
