Mellie’s time a Pulaski is coming to an end and her trainer couldn’t be more proud of her. She has improved on her “stay” this week. Her personality has blossomed. She is an awesome girl.
Mellie is the master of the stairs. She has no problems going up or down them. She loves hanging out in her kennel now. Her trainer feels she is ready for her forever home. She is going to be a great addition to her new family. You are going to have so much fun with Mellie!
Mellie knows all her commands. Stay is a tough one. Her trainer said one time she will do great and the next, she will follow her trainer when she walks away. She will keep working with her on this until graduation day. She is very treat motivated and gets very excited to do her commands. She will also do them for others. Good girl Mellie!
Mellie’s playful side has really began to shine, plus she has started to play with toys. She is still a pokey puppy when it comes to leash walking. She enjoys a leisurely stroll.
Mellie’s personality has been shining through this week! She’s running through her commands like a champ with her primary trainer and alternate trainers! She enjoys showing off how smart she is in the training room. She loves to stroll around the yard taking everything in. She enjoys hanging out in the day room watching the humans go about their daily activities. Her inmate trainer says that Mellie is a true love bug!
Mellis has come a long way since she arrived at Pulaski. She is very treat motivated and when it’s time to work on her commands, she gets so excited and is ready to get down to business. She has learned “shake”, “spin” and “bow” this week. She will run thru the basic commands like a speed racer. She knows them very well.
Mellie still likes to just walk when on the field. She is a pokey puppy. She doesn’t mind being lazy and getting lots of love from everyone in the dorm.
Mellie knows all her commands and her trainer continues to work on them each day. She still can be stubborn with “sit” sometimes. She has mastered the stairs, spin and paws up. She is doing better with “leave it”. Mellie loves to get lovings.
Mellie is a slow eater now. She likes her food with water. She loves ice too. Mellie is a pokey puppy when it comes to leash walking. She likes to take her time when walking on the leash. She can be a lazy girl and will be a wonderful dog to just chill with.
Mellie has really come out of her shell. When she and her trainer go to the training room, she gets excited and wants to show off her commands, for a treat of course. She is still a little stubborn with “sit”, but eventually she will do it. She knows her basic commands, some better than others, so her trainer is working hard to perfect them all.
Mellie loves to sit in the day room and people watch, as well as see how much love she can get. She knows how to work it to get lots of attention and ear rubs.
Mellie has shown great improvement with sit, down and leave it! They are currently working on stay and heel. She already knows many of her commands with both hand signal and verbal cues. Her inmate trainer says that when they go into the training room Mellie’s personality really comes out. When outside she walks around the field at least 5 times and sometimes she runs and plays with glee. She likes to sleep in the big beds and enjoys love and ear rubs. Her inmate trainer says that she’s having a blast with this sweet girl!
Mille has mastered the stairs! She also knows Bed, Wait, and Release! She’s currently working on Down and Sit. Her inmate trainer says that she has a very sweet personality, but can be more reserved around humans she doesn’t know as well. She will get playful while doing her commands. Her inmate trainer says that it’s a lot of fun watching Mille grow and learn as the days go by.
Mellie has been doing big things the week. She continues to get better and better going up and down the stairs. Sometime she just needs a jump start to get her going. Her trainers have been working with her on “sit”, and as of today, she is sitting by herself. Yay Mellie!
Mellie is as laid back as they come. She’s perfectly happy taking a nap next to you. She walks well on the leash at a slow, slow pace. She’s not in a hurry to get anywhere. Mellie is a pokey puppy and her trainers look forward to watching her blossom.
Mellie has entered the training program! Working toward retirement is her new goal! Her inmate trainer says that, so far, Millie is a little shy as she adjusts to this new place. She’s already beginning to learn stairs. She likes it when they put kibble on each step so that she gets a treat as she goes up. She doesn’t mind putting her front paws up on the step, but she’s not so sure about moving those back feet to the step. She’s also working on bed, wait and release. She’s still kinda wondering what her inmate trainer is talking about, but the treats make it convincing.
She did really well getting her teeth brushed, a bath, ears cleaned and nails clipped. Her inmate trainer says that she’s looking forward to working with this sweet girl!
