Forever Home Bound!

Hello and welcome back to Wiley's blog! His trainer has really enjoyed working with him during this session and Wiley is definitely going to be missed by every single trainer here. His trainer will especially miss the look he gives when he catches you eating a peanut butter cookie. Wiley will tilt his head and lick his lips while staring at you with his big beautiful eyes. You know he's saying “come on and give me that cookie! I know you see me down here!”

Wiley is such an amazing and wonderful dog. His trainer is so glad that he had the opportunity to help train him during this session. Wiley is going to make an excellent pet. He is smart, playful, and loves people. His trainer knows you will love him just as much as all the trainers at Jenkins did and do. Unfortunately for his trainer, his time with Wiley is coming to an end, but luckily for you that means that Wiley's story with you is just beginning!

A Fine-Tuned Fella

This past week was swap week but not for Wiley. No way was his trainer gonna let someone else get him! :P They've been keeping all his basic commands and leash manners fine-tuned all while working on extras. Wiley knows give, kiss, shake, roll over really well period now they are working on spin, brush your hair, visit, and show me love! That's all for now folks.

Freelance Lovebug

Wiley now knows and performs all of the 13 basic commands really well. He also knows give, shake, kiss and roll over. They’re even working on more extras! Wiley is one of the smartest hounds his trainer has ever worked with. He’s also hands down the most handsome! He missed a great opportunity at being a professional lovebug, because he has an unlimited amount of love – this guy is the sweetest hound EVER! His trainer is looking forward to the rest of the session, but definitely isn’t looking forward to having to part with this rad dude.

Just Chillin'

Wiley is the sweetest and most affectionate hound around! He loves to run on the big yard and when his trainer gives him the “here” command he comes running wide open straight back to his trainer. He’s doing great with all of his other commands with the exception of “down”. Don’t worry. His trainer said he’s almost there.

Wiley loves hanging out on his bed chilling, while his trainer watches TV. His trainer can’t wait to teach Wiley some extras. He’s looking forward to the rest of the session with the handsome hound named Wiley. Catch Ya next week.

Peanut Butter & Belly Rubs = Pure Bliss

Wiley’s inmate trainer says that Wiley is a very smart and loving boy.  His inmate trainer is proud to report that Wiley has performed his very first Sit!  He knows all of his commands very well with the exception of “down” which they will start working on next week.  

Wiley loves to lay on his bed eating peanut butter out of his Kong toy while getting his belly rubbed.  His inmate trainer says that Wiley has great focus and eye contact while training.  He takes it very serous. Wiley loves to run in the big yard playing with the other greyhounds.  

Wiley Bug

Wait, what?  We're halfway through the training program!?  Wiley’s inmate trainer says that Wiley has given him a run for his money with the sit command.  He’s doing great with all of his other commands; he's just not too crazy about all this sitting business.  His inmate trainer says not to worry, he’ll keep working till Wiley is confident and reassured that sitting is fun.  To keep things fun, he taught Willey to kiss and shake.  

His inmate trainer says that Wiley is the most affectionate and handsome hounds he’s ever worked with.  His nickname is Wiley Bug.  So Sweet!

Love Bug

Wiley’s trainer has had such a good time with him this week. He has started to perfect some of the commands that they’ve been working on, and they’ve even started to work on some new ones. Wiley ran on the big yard for the first time this past week and he did so well! He loves running and playing with other dogs. He and his trainer played hide and seek yesterday and had so much fun – everyone had a blast. He put Wiley on a bed in the day room, then he would go and hide, and then he would give Wiley the ‘here’ command and he would come find him. He hid in some really tough spots but Wiley found him every single time! It was fun and such an amazing bonding time. His trainer’s favorite thing is lying on the bed beside him and letting Wiley go to sleep with his sweet little head tucked into his arm. He is such a love bug!

Playful Personality

Wiley’s inmate trainer says that he’s a pleasure to be around.  He’s handsome and affectionate with a fun playful side.  He’s picking up on his commands at an impressive rate.  His inmate trainer says that he’s looking forward to teaching him lots of fun tricks.  

Wiley is a natural when it comes to stairs and loves hanging out on his bed.  He doesn’t have any problem with his inmate trainer sitting on the bed with him either.  He even tucks his head under his trainers arm and goes to sleep.  Doesn’t that just melt your heart.

His leash manners are coming right along and he is very focused during training.  His inmate trainer says that his favorite thing about Wiley is his playful personality and his focus.  He admits that Wiley may just have him wrapped around his paw!  

Attention Hound

Wiley reporting for duty… Sorry I’m late, but like they say, “better late than never”. I arrived at Jenkins and I made a heck of an entrance. I had to go meet everyone and soon I became the talk of the prison. It didn’t take me long to make myself at home either. I think I’m going to like it here

I am strikingly handsome. Just look at my face. I’ve got a cool stripe right down it and my dreamy eyes are to die for! Yep, I’ve got the looks and a greyt personality, no one can resist. I’m easy goin’, laid back, smart, playful and extremely loving. If you’re looking for the complete package, you’ve found it!
