Forever Family Here I Come

Patsy has come along way since she arrived.  She is a little hesitant with new people, but that’s okay she’s just being cautious making sure they’re safe.  She warms up quickly and it’s the best feeling in the world to receive her acceptance.  She loves to lay on her bed and sleep the day away.  She enjoys playing outside with the other dogs.  She hasn’t shown a lot of interest in toys just yet.  Her inmate trainer says that she’s going to miss this sweet girl, but is thankful for the time they had together!    

True Couch Potato

Patsy is doing very well with her commands.  She knows some with hand signals too.  Her trainer is very proud of how far she has come. Patsy is a true couch potato.  She loves to watch tv and sleep.  She’s a lazy greyhound, but she does get excited when it’s time to go outside.  She loves to run and play with the other dogs.  She is going to be a great addition to her forever family.

Go With The Flow Kinda Girl

It’s time for swap week!  This is when training teams exchange dogs for a week to see how the dogs do with other trainers.  Patsy’s temporary inmate trainer says that Patsy can be a little shy at first.  Once she warms up a sweet, loving, girl emerges.  She can be a little lazy, but she is retired after all.  She’ll play with toys and loves to go outside and play with the other dogs.  She loves attention and would let you pet her all day if you could.  Her temporary inmate trainer says that Patsy is a go with the flow kinda girl who seems to really enjoy life!  She’s curious about everything and is adorable when she’s exploring. 

Patsy The Pampered Pup

Patsy knows all her commands and has learned “bang bang” as an extra, fun command. She loves her human and is more comfortable with smaller groups of people. Patsy is shy around large groups she doesn’t know, but has come a long way since she arrived. She still loves to watch tv on the big pillows and enjoys lounging around with her trainer.

Peanut Butter!

Patsy loves to lounge around and watch TV.  She seems to be taking retirement pretty seriously.  Loud noises will startle her and make her a little shy, but she’s greatly improved. Her inmate trainer says that Patsy has come a long way from the day she arrived.  She loves peanut butter!  Just the sight of it and she’s ready to start training.  Seems like she’s gained a full grasp on the reward idea behind training!

Beautiful Eyes

Patsy is coming along nicely. She is getting used to the sights and sounds in the prison. Her trainer has been working on heel this week and she’s getting the hang of it. She’s doing a great job with her other commands. She’s a little slow to respond to here and sit, but her trainer is confident she will know them well before graduation. Patsy still loves to watch tv and sleep on the big beds. She loves attention from her trainer. She is so proud of Patsy’s progress.

TV Watcher

Patsy is coming along with her commands slowly but surely.  She does know most her commands, but is a little slow to respond to heel, sit and down.  When she does the “down” command it’s a flop down.  LOL  Patsy is a very sweet girl.  She just takes a little time to warm up to you.

Patsy loves to just lay down and watch tv or people watch on the big pillow.  Patsy’s trainers said they are going to keep up the great work and positive vibes.  Patsy will be a well- trained greyhound when she leaves Pulaski.

A Pretty "Sit"

Patsy knows the sit command!  She likes to follow through on her own time, but she understands the request.  Her inmate trainer says that they’ll continue to work on perfecting her response time.  Large crowds are not her favorite thing.  She loves to sleep and seems to be taking retirement pretty seriously. Her inmate trainer says that she can’t wait to see what Patsy learns next!

Super Chill Gal

Patsy’s inmate trainer says that Patsy is a super relaxed girl who likes to lay around and sleep.  Seems like she’s taking retirement pretty seriously.  She can be a little snobby by picking and choosing who she wants attention from. When she’s outside she enjoys playing with the other dogs. They’ve been working on the sit command, but so far she’s not too thrilled with following through.  Her inmate trainer is not worried as she knows that Patsy will pick it up soon enough.

Black Beauty

Patsy is starting to settle in to her environment at the prison. She already knows bed and enjoys just laying around taking it easy. Patsy loves her kennel. She’s a lazy girl and likes her beauty sleep. Patsy and her trainer have been getting to know each other this week and have worked on a few commands. She knows kennel, bed, wait, stay and jump.

Patsy is a goofy girl outside off the leash. She loves the other dogs and follows them around. She’s a sweet girl and her trainer is looking forward to getting to know her more in the coming weeks.
