Easy To Love

Mink has done great this past week. She knows all her basic commands and a list of extras that will keep you entertained. She knows Bang bang, spin, paws up, shake, high five, kiss, show me love, back it up and roll over. She is so laid back in the dorm. She has her favorite people she goes to and visits with.

Mink enjoys going outside to play. She will only play with the blue ball and enjoys playing by herself. She’s a joy to watch and so easy to love.

A People Dog

The prison put together a parade for Christmas. The dogs of Second Chance Greyhounds were the Grand Marshalls of the parade. Each of them wore a Santa hat. Mink was the first dog so she wore a sash and a hat. She was adorable. On the way to the gym she was a little scared but once we got around the people on the sides she did great. She was letting people pet her and the noise did not bother her.

Mink is a people dog, she loves everyone. She has mastered all of her basic commands and has quite the list of extra tricks she can do also.

So Athletic And Fun

Mink is doing great. The trainers have been spending more time in the day room on the big bean beds. They moved new people into the dorm so it is a lot louder and more crowded. Mink is taking the change well.

Her trainer loves watching Mink play soccer, she is so athletic and fun. This week they are practicing to walk in a parade. They are also having Grand Marshall outfits made for the greyhounds. Mink will be so adorable. Her trainer will definitely let us know how she does.

Very Loving

Mink is doing great! This week Mink has been going up stairs to stay with her secondary trainer. She does wonderful going up and down them. She’s a stair master!

Mink loves playing with the other dogs in the dorm. They chase each other all around the room. When Mink is outside her favorite playthings are the big blue ball, yellow egg and nerf ball. She is very loving and will lay her head in your lap and go to sleep.

Training is fantastic! Mink knows her basic commands and has so many extra tricks to share too. She can “Shake",” “Kiss,” “Spin” and “Give.” She knows more, but too many to list here.

Funny At Feeding Time

This week Mink enjoyed laying on the big dog beds out in the day room. She likes to play with toys when other dogs are playing inside. They will chase each other around. Mink does have here favorite people that she will follow around. Mink is not a fan of the cold weather. She will go out and do her business, then she hustles back inside where it’s warm.

Friday was “Show and Tell” and Mink did really well. She is very treat motivated. She loves to eat and her antics are so funny when it is almost time to eat. After eating she will calm down and take a nap. Mink has a very good personality but if there is something she doesn’t want to do, you will see a stubborn attitude. This attitude is over quickly though, if a treat is offered. She is progressing very nicely.

Very Smart Girl

Mink is doing great. She has all of her commands plus many extra’s mastered. Mink is adjusting well to changing rooms and trainers, so she is sure to adjust well when she goes to her new home.

Mink will take commands from anyone with a treat. She is very good with all dogs and is very loving to everyone in the dorm. Outside she will play with a ball forever. She really doesn’t care to run, unless it is after a ball. Mink is very smart and will be a great fit for any family.

Gimme Some Loving

Mink is doing so well with all of her commands and knows some extra tricks as well. She is such a fast learner. She can “Kiss,” “Spin” and do “Bang-Bang.”

Mink loves for anyone to love on her. She doesn’t care for running, which is fine. Her favorite thing to do is play puppy soccer. One day she played for what seemed like 30 minutes and Mink really took advantage of it. It was nonstop chasing the ball around.

Mink’s trainer feels that she will be a good dog around kids. Every time her trainer leaves the room, she needs to go check on her. Mink won’t go too far from her trainer.

Curious Girl

Mink is doing wonderfully. She loves playing with everyone. She is doing extremely well with her commands. She knows all of her basic commands and has learned quite a few extra tricks. She can “Spin,” “Shake,” “Kiss” and knows a few more too.

She is not big on running, but does like to play with the big nerf ball by herself. Mink is a very nosey girl. She likes to go from room to room seeing what people are doing and hoping for food and some loving.

Miss Personality

This week Mink has been really working hard on “Stay” and she is doing so well with it. She does know all of her basic commands and a some extra tricks as well…”Shake,” “Spin” and “Kiss” just to name a few of them. She loves apples and peanut butter. She even likes bananas. Mink Loves running through her commands and running around the dorm, tossing a toy to herself.

Mink has a wonderful personality. She is super happy first thing in the morning, but easy to calm. In the afternoon she can be energetic, but most of the time she is calm as can be. She enjoys walking around the dorm letting everyone love on her. The trainer believes Mink will be a good dog for a family with children.

She is always ready to run. Just the other day during the 3:00 pm potty break she decided to play with her trainer instead of trying to potty. Her trainer believes it was because she had been gone most of the day. It was so funny to her trainer, watching Mink run around her in a circle, acting like she was going to get her.

At night Mink is more relaxed. She will follow you around or she will just lay in her bed and watch what everyone is doing.

A Bundle Of Joy

On the first day, Mink did wonderful! She has so much spunk. Her trainer let her off her leash on the first day to go around and meet everyone. She ran around the dorm without any issue getting attention from everyone.

Mink is an extremely happy dog, her tail is always wagging. Mink does love toys and is a fast learner. She knows “Sit,” “Shake,” “Bounce,” “Her Name” and “Paws Up.” Even though she has a bubbly personality, she is easy to calm. Mink loves her neck scratched and ears rubbed..

Mink has a great appetite and loves apples. She is getting along with other dogs just fine. Mink is a bundle of joy and extremely fun to train and play with. Her trainer is looking forward to the week’s ahead.
