Well Behaved

Koda’s swap week trainer said he is a very smart dog. He is very loving. He just wants to chill, play and get loved on. Koda is a great dog. He knows all his basic commands and extras.

Koda did miss his primary trainer the first couple of days. He didn’t want to do much, but around day 3 he was more comfortable with his swap week trainer. He takes a little time warming up to new people, but it doesn’t take long and he will be following you around. His swap week trainer said she enjoyed spending time with Koda and it didn’t take long for her to fall in love with him.

Fun Times

Koda has been a great dog all week. Well… that’s been every week. He’s such a wonderful and amazing greyhound and his trainer hates to see him leave. She has enjoyed every minute with this sweet boy. She said he has very expressive eyes and you can’t help but fall in love with him.

Koda loves to play. His trainer has been spending a lot of time, walking, running and throwing a tennis ball with Koda. He loves squeaky toys and tennis balls. He’s a lot of fun to have around.

Here Comes Koda!

Koda’s inmate trainer says this week has flown by! She says it’s hard to think that Koda will be leaving soon.  She believes that he’s going to be happy with his new home.  He’s easy to love and a joy to be around. 

 He’s loved running in the yard this week with the cooler temps.  He’s a smart guy who has all of his commands and extras all figured out!  Recently he’s figured out how to go from “heel” to “sit” like a pro!  

Peanut Butter Pup

Koda was very excited last Sunday when he got to show off what he knows in front of new people. He did very good and his trainer is very proud of all he knows. He is very smart and loving.

Koda loves the mornings. He gets up and is ready to learn. Koda loves peanut butter. It’s his favorite treat. His trainer can’t believe it’s week 7 already. She is going to miss her best buddy.

Koda Man

Koda is such a smart and loving dog. His trainer said he has been a pleasure to work with and is going to enjoy what time she has left with him. She loves this handsome boy.

Koda is doing a great job with his commands. He also knows some extras. He’s so funny when he does “Roll”. He will do anything for a treat. “Spin” is the exception. Koda will only do it with a toy. His favorite bunny toy.

Koda is so happy in the mornings. He is so ready to go out in the morning, only because he knows it’s food time and time to eat. This boy will do anything for food. Koda’s trainer loves him and knows his forever family will love him just as much!

Best Buds

Koda had a great week with his trainer. She said he is so smart and absolutely loves everyone in the dorm. He is doing good in his kennel. His trainer is partially covering the sides and he is not barking or whining anymore when in the kennel. He would much rather be out hanging with his people.

Koda loves to run. His running buddies are Rico and Slider. His trainer said they are like brothers. They love each other.

Training is going very well. He will do his commands with a treat and also without. Koda is a loving playful boy and his trainer is going to miss him so much.

One Smart Cookie

Koda’s inmate trainer says that Koda is a loving pup who prefers to be around his human.  He loves mornings because it means a new day and breakfast!  He’s doing great with his commands and even does many of them without treats!  He’s already responding with hand signal only cues!  He’s one smart cookie!  He’s doing great with all of her extra commands and seems to have fun performing those.

Sweetheart

It’s been a fun week with Koda. He is so sweet and loving. Koda is doing much better in his kennel. He would cry the first couple of nights, but has now settled in. Lots of new things to get used to.

Koda ran for the first time and he loved it and had a fun time with the other greyhounds. He is very playful with anyone that gets his attention. Training is going well. Koda and his trainer are learning a lot together and she looks forward to the week’s ahead.

Koda Is One Kool Hound

It didn’t take Koda long to make himself at home at Jenkins. He didn’t mind getting a bath, getting his ears cleaned or his teeth brushed. He is a happy boy that is enjoying having the company of other greyhounds around. He is a playful and loving boy. He was quick to find the big beds. He loves to lounge around getting loved on. His trainer is looking forward to working with Koda. She knows it’s going to be a blast!
