Gentle Giant

Swap week is here. This is where the trainers switch greyhounds for a week to see how they do with other people giving them commands and checking for separation anxiety. This trainer got Dabo. He said Dabo is a great dog and very chill. He is a very gentle boy, a gentle giant. He is the biggest boy in the program.

Dabo did a great job with his commands. No problems at all. His swap week trainer said he is his favorite dog to hang out and chill with. Dabo will fit right in to any family and make you proud.

Dabo Is Such A Delight

Dabo is such a delight and a joy to be around. He is as friendly as friendly can get! You are going to love this boy.

Training has been steady over the weeks he has been at Jenkins. He knows all his basic commands with verbal cues and hand signals. He is always so eager to please. Dish out the treats and he’s all business.

Dabo is such a loveable soul and has the best personality. Just know, if you are adopting Dabo, you are one lucky family. He is absolutely AWESOME!

Dabo The Lounger

Dabo is coming right along.  He’s mastered most of his commands.  He’s a sweet boy who is always happy to meet new people or spend time with old friends.  His joy and enthusiasm over receiving affection is heartwarming.  His inmate trainer says that Dabo will quickly win the hearts of those who come in contact with him.  

He likes toys but isn’t overly crazy about them.  When it comes to running, you think he’s going to tear the yard up he’s so excited, but the results are not so spectacular.   

His inmate calls him a lounger as he loves hanging out in his bed and relaxing.  He’s gonna be easy to fall in love with! 

Overflowing With Love

Another exciting week in the books for Dabo!  His inmate trainer says that he’s a joy to work with.  He’s been doing well with all his commands.  

Dabo is a big friendly boy who loves people.  His fur was made for petting and his feet were made for walking to you for loves.  

His inmate trainer says that he’s had a good time training Dabo.  He believes that Dabo will make a wonderful pet for some lucky family.  

Eager To Please

This was a good week with Dabo!  His training is going great!  He understands exactly what his inmate trainer is requesting and he’s eager to follow through.  

During play time he has a blast.  He likes toys and loves chasing them.  His manners with the toys are exceptional.  He likes to hang out in his bed and receive attention.  His inmate trainer says that Dabo is a sweet and loving boy who is sure to make a great addition to his new forever family!  

A Real Treat To Train

Dabo is making great progress!  He’s been on point all week with his training.  He was introduced to the “down” command this week and caught on quickly.  Dabo’s patience is growing as he waits at the door and his kennel.  He gave superb performance at show and tell this week!  

Toys were also introduced this week.  He’s still working on learning all there is to know about those squeaky fun things, but he seems to enjoy them!  His inmate trainer says that working with Dabo has been a real treat!  

Affectionate Boy!

Dabo is a very affectionate greyhound and freely gives kisses to everyone. He loves all the attention and getting petted. If he is sitting down when you are petting him, he will lay back, so he can concentrate on being petted. He wants to soak it all in. He is a really awesome dog. What a great boy!

His training is going well. Dabo is now sitting, which is always a big step for greyhounds. He also has learned jump and is progressing very well overall. He really loves hanging out on the bed and his feeding routine is shaping up as well. By the time he goes to his new forever home, he will be a master of his commands and an even more perfect boy!

Dancing King

Everyone loves Dabo!  He is so friendly, sweet and lovable that he has become a favorite at Jenkins, and Dabo doesn’t seem to mind at all!  He loves all of the love and affection.  His trainer’s favorite thing he does is the “Dabo Dance”.  When he gets petted or scratched, just above his tail, he begins dancing around in pleasure.  It’s adorable, just like him.

Dabo is adjusting well to live in prison.  He loves to lounging on the day bed with his trainer at night.  He likes to lean back against his trainers legs, so he can chill while looking around.

He is doing pretty well with his training and catching on quickly.  He already walks like a dream, very well behaved on the leash.  Who’s ready for a walk?

Dapper Dabo

Dabo is settling in to Jenkins and adjusting well to his new environment. His trainer said he is a handsome, sweet boy that is very laid back. A gentle giant; very loving. He’s always ready to greet you with a kiss.

Dabo appreciates a good petting session and relishes the affection. His trainer hasn’t done a lot of training yet. They are getting to know each other and playing the name game and working on his leash skills. Check back next week for more updates on Dapper Dabo.
