This was a bittersweet week with Tessie. Her trainer said he was so proud of her during final testing. She was her usual amazing self, with perfect scores for all of her commands, but it also means she is about to leave. Tessie is her trainer’s favorite dog that he’s trained so far. She is so sweet, loving and just pure amazing.
Everybody will miss Tessie. She has definitely left her mark on all of their hearts.
This week Tessie enjoyed Swap Week with an alternate inmate trainer! Her alternate inmate trainer says that Tessie is smart and full of energy! She performed all of her commands without any issues. She played in the yard chasing a toy and jumping in the air with it. Her alternate inmate trainer says it was a fun sight to see! He said it made him think of a dog jumping through a field full of flowers. He says that he enjoyed his time with her and knows that she’s going to make a lovely companion for some lucky family!
Tessie is a fan favorite around Jenkins. Everyone always wants to say hello to her when she and her trainer are out.
Tessie is choosy about toys, but will go bananas for the right one. She just has to find it. They have an Octopus one that she loves. Tessie will through it up in the air, catch it and then run around and around and around. She’s a silly girl. Tessie also loves playing with the other dogs and is very well behaved while doing so. Tessie is going to make an outstanding pet!
Tessie has conquered all of her commands! Her inmate trainer is working on “kiss” and “shake” but her favorite is “belly”. She loves being loved on and a good belly rub is just the icing on the cake! Her inmate trainer says that if he stops petting her, she’ll paw him to get his attention and immediately roll over and show him her belly. She’s a true sweetheart,
Getting attention is not a problem for Tessie. Everyone stops by to see her. She loves chasing toys and running around with them. Her pick has been a little grey bunny. She’s super friendly and enjoys meeting new people. Her inmate trainer says that he believes that she’s going to be a phenomenal pet for some lucky family.
When Tessie first arrived she seemed to do everything in slo motion. Whether it was walking, getting up or eating. Her trainers wondered if she thought she was being invisible to the the human eye. It was actually quite funny. Kind of like watching man walk on the moon. Her trainers figured she would eventually let loose. Well, that day has come. While Tessie is very docile and eager to please during training sessions, when she is free to do as she pleases, she does so, quickly. Running with the other dogs or playing catch by herself with a toy, there is nothing slow about her. This comes in spurts. For the most part, Tessie prefers a life of lounging. She will present her belly to any passer-by in hopes of a belly rub.
On another note…..training is going very well. Tessie knows her 13 basic commands and is working on perfecting them.
Tessie’s training is going very well. She has learned down and jump this week. She now knows all of her basic commands. Now to work on distance and duration. Her personality is starting to emerge. She is very playful and so cute all the while. She finally started playing with toys this week. She loves to chase them.
Tessie has come a long ways in the short time at Jenkins. Everyone loves her and she has become quite the favorite. She has such a sweet and playful disposition. Whoever is adopting Tessie, is a lucky family.
This was a great week for Tessie. She was a “show and tell” star! She did wonderfully on all of her commands she has been taught so far. Tessie is the dorm favorite. Everyone wants to visit with Tessie. When her trainer has her out on her bed, she is so friendly and loving, that no one can resist petting and loving on her. Everyone in her forever home is going to love her too. I promise.
Lovely Little Tessie is doing great. She has won over her whole team’s heart. She is so loving, sweet and smart. Her training is going exceptionally well and her trainer feels she will have them mastered in no time.
Tessie is starting to show her personality. She has bouts of excitement, but most of the time she’s very relaxed. She is content to just be loved on and petted. Her trainer knows you will love her.
This girl has stolen her trainer’s heart already. He said she is the most loving dog he’s had to date. She loves to be petted and is perfectly content to lay beside her trainer, basking in all the attention.
Tessie is catching on quickly with her commands and her trainer believes she will be a “show and tell” Superstar. We shall see.
Tessie is all about comfort. She prepares her bed by fluffing the bed, even folding it up or bunching it up, until it’s just right. She will spend ten minutes or more on this until the bed is to her liking. Then it’s off to dream land with her feet in the air.
Tessie is such a sweetheart. She has the most adorable ears her trainer has ever saw! She has adjusted to “retirement” very well. She loves lounging on a bed and almost immediately starts roaching. Tessie truly is a love bug like her race name. She is a loving girl and will let you pet her for as long as you like.
Training has already started with Tessie and she is responding very well. Her trainer believes she will conquer her commands in no time. He’s really looking forward to this session with this cutie patootie!
