Max Loves With All His Heart

Max and his trainer had an amazing last week! His trainer said she has really enjoyed working with him. He is such a loving boy and does not know a stranger. His trainer is enchanted by his frog searching. He is adorable and secular…and is really a great dog. She hopes his forever family is as charmed by him as she is. She said he loves with all his heart. Max has that puppiness about him. He loves, loves, loves his people. His trainer is going to miss Max a lot. Enjoy sweet Max to the max.

Tug Of War King

Max is so playful and he gives his all into everything he does. Whether he’s encouraging anyone to pet him. He loves people and he loves all the attention. His forever family is going to love Max and his wonderful personality. He is a strong boy and if he wants to go somewhere, it’s full steam ahead. He has gotten a lot better. His trainer said he only pulls when heading out for a walk first thing in the morning.

Max loves toys very much. Tug of war is also a fun game he likes to play with Kep. They hang out quite a bit together. Max’s trainer is going to miss him when he leaves and hopes you enjoy having him in your life as much as she has.

Max The Frog Hunter

Max has become quite the frog hunter. He looks for Mr. frog when the ground is wet. The other morning the poor frog had to play “opossum” to get Max to leave it alone. He did listen to his trainer when she said “leave it”. Good boy Max. He is very gentle with the frog and only wants to play with it.

Training is going good and he is almost ready for his forever family to meet him. Two more week!

Another Greyt Week!

Max has another great week! He does well with listening to commands, even “stay”. He is such a sweet boy and absolutely loves people saying his name and being petted. Max is just a big Loverboy!

The past two mornings Max spotted a frog. His trainer instructed him to “leave it” and he did. Good boy Max. The next morning they met mr. frog again. Max moved his head in sync with the frog’s hops. He is adorable even when he is big and goofy. He is going to make his forever family so very happy.

Social Butterfly

Max and his trainer have been working extra hard this week on leash walking and jumping on people. He has gotten so much better and has even learned “easy” to help when he pulls. He has not jumped up on anyone in a couple weeks. Great Job Max! Max still gets excited and forgets/or does not realize his size. He just wants to smother the person with love. Max knows all his commands and a list of extras. He’s very smart.

If you are looking for a good boy, who is really sweet and loving, then look no further. Max is your guy. “Mr Social Butterfly.”

Looking For My Forever Home

Hi my name is Max and I’m looking for a forever home.  I’m working with an inmate trainer to learn important things like sitting in exchange for a treat.  Sometimes I get boring commands like wait or stay, but I’ll do them because it seems to make my trainer happy.  I have lots of friends here and the humans shower me with love and attention.  I get petted anytime I want!  What a sweet deal!

Max Is A Lover

Max and his trainer had a great week! He is quick with learning commands and he does aim to please. He knows most of his basic commands already. Max loves people and they love him. He is friendly, playful and smart. When he gets excited he tends to pull on the leash and jump on people. His trainer is working very hard on that. She says the best thing to do when he gets pulling on the leash is have Max stop completely and having him “heel” works best. When he jumps on people, his trainer tells him “off” and “no”. Each day he improves. Max is a handsome boy who is going to make his forever family so happy.

Happy Boy

Max is a sweet lover boy! He hasn’t met a stranger and is quiet boy. He loves to play with a ball. He is very tough on toys, so non-destructive toys are a must. He is friendly to the other dogs. Max does pull while on his leash when he gets excited, so his trainer is working on that.

Max is a quick learner. He is very smart. He learned to “down” in his kennel by day 2. He is very treat motivated. He also loves, loves, loves to be petted. Max is a happy boy!
