Fun Hound To Have Around

Hello everyone. I got to hang out with Melissa for swap week and I have to say she was a very fun hound to have around. She is very smart and laid back, but when it comes to play time, she goes crazy. She loves to pay with her toys, but will still give the toy up when you tell her “give”. She will sit patiently waiting for you to give it back to her. She did great during final testing. She knows all her basic commands with verbal cues and hand signals. The next stop is her forever home and you are truly going to love her. She is going to rock your world!

Dream Come True

This session is coming to an end all too fast for her Melissa’s trainer. He said is has been a real pleasure training and spending time with her. She knows and performs all of the 13 basic commands with perfection. She also knows kiss and spin. Her trainer could go on and on about Melissa, but it’s almost too good to be true, so you will just have to wait and see for yourself.

Melissa is so smart, loving and fun. She is also the most affectionate greyhounds that her trainer has ever worked with. Her trainer said, “if ya’ll happen to change your mind about Melissa. No hard feelings. I’ll keep her!”:)

Giver Of Kisses

Melissa did great with all of her commands at Show and Tell!  Her inmate trainer says that she’s a great dog to work with.  She loves to give kisses and does great with “give”.  She also loves to play with toys!  She loves performing her commands and is doing great with leash walking.  She’s a smart girl and a faster learner.  

If you want to settle in and watch a movie, just pull up a dog bed and Melissa will happily join you.  

True Star

Can you believe it?  We’re at the half way mark already!  Melissa performed her commands for another inmate trainer this week and did great!  

She loves to come out of her kennel and dish lots of love on the human letting her out.  Her inmate trainer says that Melissa is a true star and loves to be the center of attention.  Her beauty alone demands that she receives love and yummy treats.  Humans should know that they were put here just for her.  

She enjoys running in the big yard with her pals… and maybe there’s a little look at me going on as she trots around.  

Her inmate trainer says that he believes that a person couldn’t ask for a better dog than Melissa.  You can’t help but fall in love with her! 

Melissa Is Dyn-O-Mite!

We are halfway through the training session and Melissa’s trainer could not be more pleased with her! She is as close to perfect as you can get. She has perfected all of her basic commands and feeding routine. She is very well mannered, playful and extremely loving. They have started working on some extra commands. Kiss and give so far.

Melissa’s trainer is really looking forward to the rest of the session with her. He has enjoyed every minute with her and he’s going to shed some tears when she goes to her forever home. Someone is getting one AWESOME girl!

Attention Hound

Hello Melissa fans!

Melissa’s trainer writes in to say that it’s such a privilege to be training Melissa!  He says that he think’s she’s as close to perfect as she can get.   She handles things well and has wonderful leash manners.  She loves all people and performs all of her commands with perfection.  

Melissa is a loving, playful girl, who carries happiness with her wherever she goes.  Her inmate trainer says that he’s enjoyed being around Melissa!  He believes that her forever family is going to fall head over heels in love with her. 

Smarty Pants

Hello, Melissa fans! It's been another fun and productive week with little Miss Melissa here. She is extremely loving, very playful, and out-of-this-world smart. She has perfect leash manners and she has picked up quickly on all of the commands that they have worked on so far. They only have a couple of commands left before she knows all of the 13 basic commands, and after that they will continue to reinforce and perfect them, leaving time to learn some extras. She loves hanging out on her bed watching movies and football. Her favorite things of all time are people and affection. She meets no strangers! All right folks, I reckon that's all for now. Marvelous Melissa

What a week it’s been with Melissa!  She is so affectionate and attentive that her trainer is pretty sure her favorite thing is people!  She meets no strangers and she gets so excited when she meets someone new.

Melissa loves hanging out on her bed eating peanut butter and popcorn with her trainer.  Her leash walking skills are top notch, that you don’t even need a leash.  She’s adjusting really well to her temporary home and she’s picking up on her commands fast.

Melissa’s trainer is enjoying his time with this fabulous girl and she’s got him double wrapped around her little paw.  Everybody loves her so much and her trainer knows you will too.  

Absolutely Adorable!

Melissa stole her trainer’s heart the moment he saw her! He said she is the most beautiful and adorable greyhound he’s ever seen. Her ears are so cute too!

She is adjusting very well to all the new smells, sights and sounds and this girl LOVES people! No one is a stranger to Melissa. She is super affectionate and Melissa already has her trainer wrapped around her little paw and he’s so excited to be able to work with her over the next 9 weeks. You are absolutely going to love this girl hands down!
