A New Adventure Lies Ahead

Hello Everyone! As you all know from previous summaries, this dog is lovable and extremely intelligent. When team 7 (Hammer’s team) first began the early stages of training with Dancin Hammer, they predicted that he’d learn all of the basic commands and he has done just that. This week Hammer enjoyed extra social and relaxation time instead of hard training. Yesterday Hammer got a chance to run in the recreation area. He ran and fetched squeaky toys and a tennis ball. He was so happy when two other friendly hounds came out to join him. He shared his toys without hesitation. His trainers were extremely proud of him. They will miss him when he heads off on his new adventure…. Forever Home.

My trainers are the best! They give me yummy treats, just for doing these simple things called commands. I also get to play with toys! They are so much fun!

This week I got to show off my skills with my secondary human (trainer), during “show your tail”. Boy did I show out!. He gave me lots of ear rubs for doing an awesome job!

All of the humans here love me. I think I’ll keep them for a little while longer. I’m excited about the week’s to come. I’m always ready to learn new things.
