I'm So Happy!

Hello. It’s Joline reporting to you for the last time before I meet some new people called my forever family. I’m so happy. Nothing but a wagging tail here!

We did something called final testing this week and my trainer was all smiles when I performed all my commands and made a perfect score on everything. All the hard work and training paid off. I have learned some extras. “Spin” is fun, but “speak” is even better. I don’t think my trainer actually knows what I’m saying, but he gives me treats anyway.

I can’t wait until I meet my new forever family. It sounds like quite an adventure to me and I love some excitement every now and then. Chao for now.

PS. Joline’s trainers wanted to say thank you for allowing them the honor of training Joline and hope to hear how she is doing from time to time.

Sweet Natured Girl

Swap Week time!  Joline spent some time with an alternate training team.  Her alternate inmate trainer said that Joline took a little time adjusting to the changes.  Once she realized that nothing was actually very different she opened right up and relaxed.  She enjoyed investigating new things and socializing with everyone.

Her inmate trainer says that in a short amount time Joline showed off her sweet nature and smarts!  She knows all of her commands and most with both verbal and hand signal ques.

Fun Times

Hello again! It’s Joline. Things are going great here. I’ve pretty much mastered by commands and now I’m working on some cool extras. This week I’m learning how to “shake”. I think it’s good for a lady to know how to introduce herself to other people. It’s also lots of fun and rewarding, because I get a lot of attention when I do it.

I had fun running on the big yard this week. Nothing better than a good sprint to get the blood flowing and to keep in shape and burn off some energy. I also enjoyed some quiet time laying on a bed beside my trainer, watching a movie. He gave me some kibble and a few scratches behind my ears. What a nice guy he is.

I’m working on something fun. It’s called “spin”. I’m not quite sure about it just yet, but I’m sure by next week I’ll have more to say about it. Chat with you next week!

Rocking And Rolling Through Training

Guess who rocked Show and Tell?  ME that’s who!  I strutted in and showed off my mad skills.  I did so good that my inmate trainer gave me the weekend off.  I spent my time playing with toys and romping around outside.

My inmate trainer dishes out yummy treats and sometimes I can’t contain my excitement and I follow him around to see what he’s going to ask me to do next.  He says that we now have to work on something called “wait” and “lets go”.  I’ll get the hang of these soon, but I’m wondering if I should let the human know how quickly I’ve figured them out.  Delay and get more treats or reveal my skills and show my brilliance…. Hum….

So you’re wondering what it’s like here?  Well, I get my teeth brushed, my hair brushed, a pawdicure, toy play and treats.

Well I gotta run, it’s nap time and I’ll probably get a treat later

Good Stays Every Day

Hey guys! I'm so excited tell you that I finally nailed jump. It's a lot more fun now, and I don't even need a bunch of treats to do it. I've also been working on sit for longer periods of time, as well as down. My trainers say I have a really good stay although I'm pretty sure they forget that I'm there sometimes. But they always come back and tell me good stay! That's it for now, I'm off to the salon to have my hair brushed - later!

"Brush Your Hair"

Hello humans!  Welcome back to another chapter of my life!  I’m finally getting to “jump” and do the stairs. In truth, it’s not as bad as I made it out to be, but it sure seemed scary at first.  Then the treats came out and the words of praise and I realized I’m really a rock star.  Yeah, I got this y’all! Just keep dishing out the treats like good humans.

Okay so you might want to sit down for this one… I’ve been learning a new command that’s gonna make you want to break out your cameras and maybe even roll out the red carpet…. “brush my hair” is gonna take the world by storm and I’m super cute doing it.

A Treat for Every Trick!

Hey guys! I'm excited to share with you another week into my life. I did my first show until this week and did great on the commands that I've learned so far. I'm also getting the hang of jump. I'm actually jumping on my own, but it took some extra treats and coaxing to get it done. I've also learned down and it is way easier than sit! I'm really excited to see what else I can learn to show off to my forever family. Until next week... Later!

Jolly Ball Time

Hey guys! Welcome back into another week into my life. I'm starting to catch on to this whole training thing. I'm learning that if I do the command, I get a treat. Seems like a fair trade to me. I started learning jump this week and I gotta say, I'm not a big fan of it…yet. I also started stair training, and at first it was scary, but after a couple of times up and down, I'm good at it! I never knew that learning could be so much fun. I also found this ball that makes noise and it has become my favorite toy! Well, time to go play with it - later!

Birthday Girl!

Joline is adjusting well to her temporary home at Jenkins. She is learning “sit” this week, along with “bed”, “stay”, “wait” and “here”. She’s picking up her commands quickly that her trainer gave her the weekend off. Plus it’s her birthday. She’s going to celebrate with her brother Geo. They enjoy hanging out together and will even share beds. Now that’s sibling love.

A New Life for Jolie

Hey guys! I’m starting to adjust to my new home here. I met my training team and they seem to know what they are doing. I won’t know how it’s going to be FOR SURE until a couple of weeks have passed, but so far so good. They did give me a nice bath, check for ticks and cleaned my ears. I’m learning something new every day! Whenever I do something right, my trainer gets excited and gives me a lot of treats. As long as he keeps giving me treats, I’ll keep learning! I’m still trying to adjust so hopefully I’ll have more to talk about next week. Until then!
