Full Of Love

Saucy has come out of her shell!  She’s a girl full of love and energy these days.  She’ll eat anything you give her and is happy go lucky.  Her inmate trainer says it’s a complete difference from the shy girl who first came into the program.  Now that she’s become comfortable with her environment she shines like a light.  She knows all of her commands and is the perfect mix of energy and calm.  He said that she’s the first dog he’s trained that can be petted for hours and never move!  She’s smart and picks up on a routine quickly.  Her inmate trainer says that he’s truly going to miss this sweet girl! 

A Pleasure To Work With

Saucy spent time this week with an alternate inmate trainer for swap week!  Swap week is the time in the training program where the hounds are handed off to an alternate set of trainers to see if she has any problems being away from her primary training team, or if she needs a little extra help on any commands, and test her responses to requests from a new person.  Needless to say Saucy did a fantastic job!  She performed all of her commands with no problem.  She didn’t seem to mind being away from her primary training team and proved to be a very loving girl!  He said that she was an absolute pleasure to work with!  

Love Bug

This girl is a love bug! She enjoys being petted more than she enjoys feeding times. As long as you pet her, she’s got the time. She won’t budge an inch.

Saucy has continued to progress this week on her commands. She is doing great. Saucy is only slow to respond to “leave it”.

Saucy is the adventurous type outside. She takes in all the sights and sounds. She will try and go after the occasional leaf or butterfly as it passes by. Saucy is great on her leash walks and pays attention to her trainer.

This dog is a true love bug and so enjoyable with her spontaneous balls of love that she seems to throw at you. She gives you looks that will melt your heart and make you want to give her all the treats and attention. Saucy is truly lovable!

Soaking Up All The Attention

Saucy has really come out of her shell this week!  Her inmate trainer says that she’s found her comfort zone!  She’s more playful these days and has a favorite white ball that she loves to play with.  Her favorite activity is playing fetch.  She’s curious and likes to know everything that’s going on around her.  Her inmate trainer says that he bets that she’s quite the gossip with her greyhound buddies.  

He says that Saucy is a very sweet girl and everyone enjoys stopping by to say Hi and show her some attention.  She soaks up every bit of it too!  He says that she’s doing great with her training!  She catches on quickly and can be a little stubborn from time to time.  Her inmate trainer says that he’s certain that her new forever family will fall head over paws for this sweet girl! 

Super Fast

Saucy is doing well and is right where she should be with her commands. She learned “down” this week. Saucy is quick to catch on, so new commands are easy for her as she continues to progress. She is a very smart girl and loves to play with her toys. She is coming out of her shell a little more each week. Her trainer is very proud of her progress.

Saucy’s trainer loves to watch her run on the big yard. He thinks she’s the fastest dog in the group. She just flies!

Cute and Lovable

Saucy turned a corner on her training this week. Her focus and eye contact have improved dramatically during training. She has learned “sit” which helps with her feeding routine. Her trainer said she is such a joy to train and he hasn’t met a more loving greyhound than Saucy. She is super cute and it will be love at first sight when her forever family meets her.

Laid Back Gal

Saucy’s training is proceeding as planned. She has learned very quickly and performed well at show and tail. Her trainers are currently working on “sit”, which normally takes time with greyhounds, but she will be sitting on her own soon. All the other commands seem to be easy for her, as she has quickly mastered most of them.

Saucy is a very laid back dog and behaves very well. Her trainer has no complaints about her behavior. She is a lounge hound for the most part, but she does love to run. She has more stamina than most. She will run long after the others have stopped. She really seems to enjoy it.

Saucy is still the dorm favorite and has many visitors every evening while she lays on her bed, which is her favorite activity by far! Expect great things from sweet Saucy!

Saucy Loves Attention

Saucy’s training is moving along nicely.  She’s a smart girl who understands what’s requested of her.  She’s made steady progress each day and her inmate trainer believes that she’ll have all of her commands down pat in no time.   

Her trainer says that Saucy is a well-behaved, laid-back girl.  Initially she can be a little slow to warm up to people, but she loves attention, so she tends to quickly forget about her shyness.  Her favorite thing to do is to lounge around on her bed. 

Next week her inmate trainer plans to work on polishing up her sit and jump and see what else she learns next! 

Dorm Favorite

Saucy is adjusting very well to her new surroundings. She has quickly become a dorm favorite and really loves all the attention. You can’t pet Saucy too much. She is very affectionate.

Saucy’s favorite activity is lounging on the bed with her trainer while he watches TV. She is a smart girl and is catching on the the commands with ease. Her trainer predicts Saucy will conquer her training very quickly.

True Sweetheart

Saucy has arrived for training!  Her inmate trainer says that this girl is a true sweetheart!  She’s made the transition smoothly and is making friends and bringing smiles to all those around her.  She prefers attention over treats!  She’s proving herself to be one smart cookie.  She’s already caught on to a few commands in just a few short days. 

Saucy is a girl who loves people and dogs. She hasn’t met a stranger yet! She’s curious about everything and watches all things around her with interest. She seems to be an outdoors kind of girl who can’t wait for a chance to get outside to play and investigate
