Incoming belly rubs are imminent!

Week 10! Where did the time go?! This session has come to an end and Blondie is ready to meet her forever family. Her trainer is so proud of her because she has come such a long way in just 10 weeks. She knows all 13 commands and is such a gentle, loving dog. She is going to make an unforgettable companion!

Blondie’s trainer says that she has taught him so much in return: he has learned to work with others, and how to exercise patience. Most importantly, he has experienced the feelings of unconditional love and compassion again that only an animal can bring out of a human. Blondie’s trainer wants to say thank you to this sweet girl for helping him more than he feels he has helped her! This was only his first session as a secondary trainer and he is looking forward to many more as he progresses through the program. Whoever gets to adopt Blondie is in for a real treat!

Swap Week Spooktacular

This week Blondie spent some time with her swap week training team, and she did so well! She suffered no separation anxiety and was just happy to be here, as usual. She also performed all of her basic commands for her swap week trainers and for her secondary trainer. Blondie has excellent kennel manners; she waits and enters on command! What a gal.

Blondie gets along very well with other greyhounds and with the other trainers in the program - she just loves everyone she meets!

Blondie The Explorer

Hey people!  What’s the deal?  I hear I’m still available and I just don’t understand.  My trainer says I’m a great dog and would make some family very happy.  I love meeting new people and making friends.  I know all my commands and I laugh at stairs. They are so easy.  I don’t know what all the fuss is about.  I absolutely love toys, especially the squeaky ones.  I like the round things that roll.  They are pretty cool too. 

My trainer says I’m a true “hound”.  I love to sniff everything when I’m outside.  And I mean everything. There’s so much to explore here and I don’t want to miss a thing.  Oh.  I almost forgot.    I’m super sweet and cute as all get out. And my eyes are to die for.  Ok, enough about me.  Now go.  Tell them you want to adopt me. You won’t be sorry.

Chugging Right Along

Hello again everyone, and how are you this fine week? Week seven is here and we are getting close to the end of this session! Blondie is having a blast with her trainer and knocked stairs training out of the park this week. She did great at show and tell, too! She is so smart, playful, peppy, beautiful and sweet and she is going to make an incredible family pet!

Pick Me!

What a week for Blondie! She knows all her basic commands and will perform them without a treat. Way to go Blondie! She does stairs like a champ too. Now don’t get me wrong, this girl loves her squeaky toys and food. She is very attentive when they are involved.

Graduation will be here before you know it and Blondie’s secondary trainer can’t wait to show her off. He’s very proud of her progress and the positive changes this program has had on him. Blondie’s smart, friendly, just a great all arounder. Could you be the forever family she has been looking for?

Blondie the Babe

It's week five, and we have an important announcement: Blondie is a terrific dog. Seriously! Her trainers love every minute they spend with this sweet girl. They love getting to teach her and see her run and play with other dogs. She gets along great with all living creatures and loves to have her coat brushed. She's such a calm girl, you can brush her teeth and she just lounges. 

Blondie loves treats and toys and since she is a bit easily distracted, her trainers have been focusing on multiple brief training sessions throughout the day to get her commands down pat. 

She did stair training this week and she did great; she loves being outdoors and is a true hound dog - she loves to sniff the ground! Blondie is a wonderful, gentle girl and is going to knock your socks off. 

Mesmerizing Eyes

Hello everyone! Training is going great with Blondie. She had stair training and did excellent going up and down them. They also had show and tell this week and she passed like the star student she is.

Earlier this week Blondie it was raining during potty break. That didn’t stop Blondie. She had a field day running around and showing off. It was just to cute! She puts a smile on everyone’s faces; inmates and staff alike.

Right now Blondie is giving her trainer the puppy dog eyes, begging him to play with her. He says it’s so hard to resist her feminine charm. And those eyes! Need I say more? Blondie will fit in to any household. Don’t wait until it’s too late.

Bouncy Buddy

Hello everyone, Blondie and her trainer hope you are having an awesome week! She is responding very well to her commands and sits for toys, heels for treats and recalls for love. She has just come back inside from her daily run and is basking in the cool air. Blondie is a very well-behaved girl and all who meet her love her instantly. When Miss Patti visited this week, she was so ecstatic to see her that she couldn’t stop jumping around and wagging her tail! Blondie also passed her first show and tell this week, and her training team is so proud of her and so excited. It means she gets more treats and play time. Overall, Blondie is a very smart and sweet girl and is going to make her new family so, so happy with her sweet antics. Til next week, see you then!

Undeniably Lovable

Week two is over and Blondie has progressed nicely.  She is starting to open up more and more each day, playing, speaking and sitting.  Her trainers recently learned that Blondie is an entry level soccer player and could move up to the pros by graduation! 

Blondie is a very intelligent girl and is doing well learning her basic commands.  She is such a sweet, well behaved lovable girl.  She loves to run freely and explore new things and meet new people.  Not a shy bone in her body.  She will make an awesome family dog.

Bombshell Blondie

Hello, everyone! Blondie's trainer hopes you are doing well and wants you to know that this sweet, beautiful girl has adjusted very well, especially considering it's only week one. She is a very curious girl, always watching everything around her and always sniffing new smells. She is very sweet and loves to meet new people. She is always greeting everyone with a wagging tail and a kiss! 

On her very first day, she was so eager to meet everyone and all of her new playmates. Blondie loves having the freedom to run around but will still walk beside you if told to do so. So far, Blondie has shown herself to be sweet, responsive, well-mannered and so easy to train. Check back next week to see how this bombshell is doing!
