Early Bird Gets the Ball

Snoopy is still active and playful early in the morning. When his trainer wakes up to take him outside, he is already jumping up and down or playing with toys in his kennel. Then during the day he just wants to sleep or lay around and chill out. He loves to have his pillow and blanket all the time, and if his trainer picks them up to carry them away, Snoopy will follow her around until she returns them to him.

He enjoys running around outside with the other dogs, but plays very well by himself. He especially likes to roll the ball around and play with it He is still a little hesitant about the shiny, waxed floors inside, so he is a little more careful when he plays indoors. He loves people watching and to know everything that’s going on around him. He likes to mimic whatever his trainer is doing; if she is walking around so is he, and if she lays down he lays down beside her.

Tuck Me In

Snoopy is doing great with all of his commands. He has a very friendly and outgoing personality. He loves his trainer to tuck him in at night with his big pillow, red blanket and three toys. His trainer said if she doesn’t do that for him, he will move around in his kennel until she does. Snoopy likes a good head and belly rub if you have the time.

Snoopy has mastered most of his basic commands except “Leave It.” He also has mastered quite a few extra commands as well, “Shake,” “Paws Up,” “High Five,” just to name a few.

Snoopy and his trainer are working hard with his walking on the shiny floors and with enough practice, Snoopy should master that as well.

Very Loving

Snoopy has been doing great with all of his commands and some he is doing without a treat.  He is so playful and loving with not only his trainer but with everyone.  Snoopy will go up to people for them to love on him.

He is most energetic early in the morning. In the afternoon, he is happy laying around or playing with his toys.  His trainer said he loves hugs and plenty of petting. He can’t get enough. Snoopy is a really calm dog that will fit in anywhere or with anyone because he has so much love to give, especially if they play with him or give him a rub.

Sweet Snoopy

Snoopy is having an awesome week. He will do anything he can to earn a treat, so his training is coming along very easily. He is very smart and has started trying to figure out how to work door knobs, although so far, no success.

Snoopy adores people, and will go up to everyone looking for pets and hugs. When he’s on his own with his trainer, he likes to lay his head in her lap or roll over to get his belly rubbed. He is a very sweet and affectionate dog.

Training So Hard

Snoopy is a playful boy and loves to run outside, but is a lazy boy in the dorm.  It must be from all of the hard training he has been doing.

Snoopy knows all but one of his basic commands.  His trainer is working on the “Stay” command along with the “Crawl” command and hopefully he will know them both before long.  Snoopy already has a few extra commands mastered, such as, “Shake”, “Paws Up”, “High Five” and “Which Hand”.   Snoopy is such a smart boy.

"Say Your Prayers"

Snoopy has been doing very good.  He and his trainer have been working on walking on the floors and getting more confident on them this week in addition to some new tricks.  Snoopy is learning how to “Crawl” and “Say Your Prayers,” but they still have a little work left to do on them.  He knows most of his basic commands and quite a few extra ones too.

Snoopy and his trainer are continuing to work on his commands so he is ready for his forever family.  His trainer said Snoopy is sooooo ready, that he is willing to learn fast!

He loves to run outside and he could do it all day long.  Snoopy is doing so much better on the stairs, he can do them all by himself.  He has been a good boy and hopes Santa has a new toy for him this Christmas.

Treat Me

Snoopy has been doing great! He knows all of his commands and some extra ones. He is a very smart, loving, caring and a good listener. All eyes and ears are on his trainer when it’s time for business (training). Snoopy will do some commands on his own such as “Sit” and “Bed” just to get a treat.

Snoopy’s trainer said he loves for her to sit on the floor with him so he can put his front paws on her or so they can play. He is very playful when outside and wants her to run with him. Snoopy is such a happy boy. He can do the stairs very well. He’s a big boy now. Snoopy is not a fan of sharing his bed or toys, but his trainer is working with him to let him know sharing is a good thing. Snoopy is a great dog and will fit in with any family that adopts him. He is a calm boy and a great listener.

Smart Boy

Snoopy has been doing great this week with his commands. He knows most of them very well. It is so exciting to see him learning so fast. His trainer said Snoopy listens well to everything he is told to do. He is definitely a morning dog. That is when he has the most energy and, in the evening, he likes to chill and lay around.

Snoopy is very loving, sweet, caring and always wants his trainer to hug and love on him. He also wants to know everything that goes on around him. Snoopy is very smart but just a little shy. Stairs are still a work in progress, but it’s only week two.

He is a very happy dog and likes to play with all of his toys and people. Snoopy is a bit protective of his Kong, no matter what treat it has inside. His Trainer will work with him to let him know it’s ok to share..

Snoopy is very impressive with all of the commands he has learned so far which is most of them!

Quick Learner

According to Snoopy’s trainer he is a very playful and laid-back boy.  He likes toys and gets so excited but calms down quickly.

Snoopy has already learned Kennel, Bed, Sit and Down.  It takes a minute but he will do the commands.  It has been so easy for Snoopy to learn because he loves treats.  The only thing he is having trouble with is the stairs.  Going down is easy and coming up is the hard part.  His trainer said that they are working hard on this command and he looking better every day.

Snoopy is a real sweetheart and needs a lot of love because he has so much love to give.
