Tomorrow, tomorrow, I'll love ya, tomorrow!

Swap week went swimmingly and Annie went back to her primary, who missed her TONS. She is just so sweet and well-mannered.

On her final testing, Annie scored very well. She only scored two 9's and the rest were 10's! And this test was given by someone who had never even worked with her before, so it was an all new person giving Annie commands!  Needless to say, her trainer was very proud of her. She will do so great with her new forever family! Is it gonna be you?

Belly Rubs Please

Week 9 is always a fun week for both the trainers and greyhounds.  The dogs are with different trainers and in an unfamiliar kennel than what they are used to.  Annie did great for swap week.  She is a very smart girl and knows all of her commands.  Annie does like to "down" when asked to "sit", but is improving.  She enjoys playing with toys and running with the other greyhounds on the big yard.  Annie is also very treat motivated.  She loves to eat!!

Annie is a very sweet and loving greyhound that loves to be petted.  She has a favorite spot on her belly and she will let you pet her there until the sun comes up the next day!  So if you would like to sweeten your household and add some extra love to it, then Annie is the one for you!  She's GREAT!!!

Your Sweet Annie

Well another week has come and gone and Annie has done very well. She is such a sweet little lady. Next week is swap week and that will be a good test for her.  Annie's trainer believes that she will do just fine. Swap week is where a different trainer gives the dogs commands to see how they perform.

Her trainer says that he is so proud of her!  She is just the sweetest pooch ever. He's really going to miss her and just can't say enough about how lucky some family will be once they scoop her up. Is it going to be you? Just look at that sweet face!  She's irresistible!

Pick Me! Pick Me!

Annie started running through her commands this week with different people she has had little contact with.  It was no surprise, she did great!  She is such a sweet and obedient girl.  Annie loves food, so if you have a treat for her, she would probably to back flips for you. LOL  Annie know all of her basic commands and a couple of extras, belly and shake.  She's going to impress her forever family as to how smart she is.

If you want to adopt one of the sweetest and greatest greyhounds ever, check out Annie.  You are going to fall head over heels in love with her.  Don't wait to long...

Sweet Little Girl in a Great Big World

Annie is the most laid-back greyhound in the world. She loves to run with the other pups and she likes to run especially with two of the other girls and one boy. They all chase the boy because he's such a handsome fella! What a little heartbreaker.

On show and tell day, Annie worked with her secondary trainer and they got the job done with tens across the board. Another proud moment for her trainer! He's really going to miss Annie, because she is just so smart, sweet, adorable and loving. Annie picked up on the shake command just as fast as she did with everything else. She is just so darn smart! The trainers hate to see her go but will love to see her go to her new forever home. Annie deserves a loving home and some loving family deserves Annie!

Annie In One Word..... Awesomesauce!

Little Ms. Annie is such a well mannered girl and is always eager to please.  She has pretty much mastered her basic commands.  Now to fine tune them before graduation.  Her trainer describes Annie with one word...Awesomesauce!!!

Annie plays very well with the other pups out on the big yard.  She has shown no signs of aggression with people or the other greyhounds.  Her trainer's are so proud of this sweet girl.  She is calm, quiet, laid back and very loving.  She will be a great addition to some lucky family.  Don't wait too long, because Awesomesauce Annie won't be available for long.

Dreamboat Annie!

Another week has come and gone and dear Sweet Annie improves all the time. She is really tightening up on all of her commands. She's such a gentle sweet pup, as mellow as they come. She's just so darn cute and everyone loves her bunches. Her trainer has been working on walking her around in the dorm without a leash and running through her commands early in the morning. She's doing very well with this! Little Annie is such an awesome girl. Her trainer and her team are so proud of her, and she is just so amazing! More to come next week!

Sweetest Girl Ever!

Annie’s inmate trainer says that Annie is the sweetest little girl ever.  He says that she didn’t take to toys right away but she’s learning how to play with them and starting to have fun.  He throws a toy across the room and she’ll bring them back and drop it at his feet.  (With proper treat payment of course).

Annie loves lying around and relaxing.  Retirement is a very important business you know.  Her inmate trainer says that she loves attention and her easy mellow personality makes it easy to give in.  She’s a fast learner and it makes training much easier.  He says he’s very proud of sweet Annie and can’t wait to see what she learns next.

Stunning Prodigy

If you are looking for a sweet, precious greyhound with razor sharp intellect, then look no further because you have found her! Annie arrived at Second Chance Academy on January 26th, and by February 4th she had performed all of her commands! They still have some work to do to get her 10s across the board, but she knows what they are and THAT is a big deal.

Little Annie is so smart and very gentle, the classic greyhound combo. Her trainer says he couldn't have asked for a better dog. She will make some lucky family very happy and proud to say, "yep, that's our Annie!"

And this is just the beginning - who knows what wonders the next eight weeks hold? Check back next week to find out!

Sincerely,

Annie Fan Club

Happy 3rd Birthday Annie!

Annie’s inmate trainer says that he’s only had Annie for 3 days and she’s already showing how smart and sweet she is.  He started working with her Friday, the day after her arrival, and by Sunday she was already coming to her name and performing the “down” and “bed” commands!  She’s starting to sit on her own already as well! Now, it’s a side sit but her inmate trainer is confident that by the end of the week they’ll have a full backwards sit down pat.  She’s also doing really well with leash walking and picking up on the “wait” command at the door and she’s working on the “heel” command with great progress.

Her trainer says that Annie is such a precious sweet girl who seems to have a mellow personality.  She’s not crazy over toys just yet, but does enjoy a quick game of chase with her trainer.   He says that the coming weeks are going to be a lot of fun!!
