Well, it’s the last blog. Tanner’s inmate trainer says that training has been a blast! He’s had a wonderful experience. He’s a loving boy who is going to be missed by all the inmates in the dorm. Tanner is loved by everyone!
Tanner’s inmate trainer says that he so very proud of him! He knows all of his commands and catches on quickly to new things. His trainer says that be believes Tanner’s new family is going to have a blast with this sweet boy!
Swap week has arrived! It’s the time in training when the inmate trainers exchange dogs to work on any training issues, to see how the dogs accept commands from a new ground and test how they do away from their primary trainers.
Tanner’s alternate inmate trainer says that Tanner knows all of his commands and does great when leash walking. He loves to lay on his bed and watch TV. He’s been calm and loveable with his alternate trainer. He will lay on his bed and stare at his alternate trainer until he receives some pets and attention. His alternate trainer says that he believes Tanner is going to make his new forever family very happy!
Tanner has come a long ways since arriving at Jenkins. He didn’t know any commands at first. Now he’s a pro at all 13 of them. He even knows most of them with hand signals. His trainer is so proud of hm and knows you will be too. Tanner’s trainer loves how he tilts his head when he hears a strange sound. He said it’s funny to watch him.
Tanner is a sweet, loving boy. He loves to play with toys, especially the rubber chicken that squeaks. He loves to relax on the bed right next to his trainer when allowed. Tanner is sure to melt your heart when you lock eyes with his. Two more weeks….
Welcome to week 7 of Mr. Tanner’s adventure at SCG Academy of higher learning. Tanner knows all his basic commands because he’s AWESOME!! This hound is very loving and loves to cuddle when the opportunity is given. Tanner is in love with… wait for it…. Food. It should be no surprise, but this boy will do anything for his scooby snacks. Don’t worry. All it takes is not 3, not 2, but 1 to get Tanner going. He is a wonderful pup and you will definitely love him. The countdown is on.
Another week down of training with Tanner! Tanner is so eager to please and will do anything to get a tasty treat. Tanner is a very smart, low energy, loving boy. He’s got a look he gives you with his wide eyes. He can almost hypnotize you into giving him everything he wants. LOL
Tanner is a hoot to watch at feeding time. He is so food oriented that you can get him to do just about anything for it. Tanner also loves to chill out on the bed with his trainer. His coat is so soft and smooth, you could pet him for hours.
You couldn’t ask for a better dog than Tanner. You will fall head over heals in love with Tanner once you lock eyes with his.
Tanner has had a fantastic week! His inmate trainer says that he is enjoying the time he spends with Tanner!
Tanner is a happy guy that you can’t help but love. This week they worked on down and Tanner has almost perfected it! His inmate trainer says that Tanner may even have some time to learn a few extras. Tanner loves his food and is very obedient. In truth, the majority of his energy comes from knowing there’s a treat behind each request.
This week has been incredible for this handsome, super soft hound. Tanner’s trainer found out this week, that he is a very intelligent hound. His trainer had to rub his eyes in disbelief as Tanner strutted around and did his commands with no problem this week (excluding “down”).
Tanner is a happy hound, who enjoys the comfort of his bed. He enjoys a nice belly rub and treats for a job well done. Is Tanner a good fit for you? He is one of a kind.
This week with Mr. Tanner has been a very productive one. Tanner has learned the concept of, if I do what my trainer tells me to do, I get yummy treats. Tanner enjoys being on his bed, so of course, “bed” came naturally. He’s doing well with his other commands that his trainer has introduced to him.
If you are wanting a laid back hound, who just wants love and kibble, look no further. Tanner is full of surprises. This happy hound will smoother you with lots of love and kisses.
Hello again. This week has been an exciting one for Mr. Tanner. Leash walking has literally became a walk in the park. This handsome hound is very smart and has picked up the kennel command with ease. He also knows “hurry” and “let’s go”. Tanner is super treat motivated and is quick to learn for the right scooby snack. His trainer is looking forward to working with this sweet boy. Until next time…
This first week has been a very productive one. Tanner is a happy boy that enjoys spending time outside his kennel. His trainer has learned that this handsome, soft furred pooch enjoys the company of all the other greyhounds in the program. Tanner is a loving hound that doesn’t mind being hugged around the neck. He is a very affectionate boy and his trainer is looking forward to working with him. Tanner has a lot of potential to succeed in the SCG program at Jenkins. See you next week for more updates.
