Week 5

Over the past five weeks Bobby has truly come into his own. He is confident, well behaved, and eager to spend time with his people.

He listens well, enjoys his walks, and playtime, of course! He has become a wonderful training partner. He remains healthy and continues to make excellent progress with his training.

Bobby has reminded his inmate trainer how much love and trust a dog can give when you show patience and kindness. His inmate trainer knows he will make a loyal, gentle, and loving companion for his forever family.

Week 4

Bobby continues to make steady progress and continues to thrive in the program. He is comfortable in the facility. He enjoys his daily routine and responds well to his training sessions.

His gentle and affectionate personality shines through more each week. There are still no health concerns.

Spending time with Bobby has been the highlight of his inmate trainer’s week. It is so rewarding to see his confidence continue to grow!

They continue to work on training his commands.

Week 3

This week Bobby has shown more confidence and trust during his time with his inmate trainer. He responds well to guidance, listens closely, and is becoming more so during his training sessions.

He enjoys being around people and continues to have a relaxed, happy attitude. He remains healthy with no concerns.

Building a stronger bond with Bobby has been very rewarding. His inmate trainer looks forward to seeing Bobby continue to learn, become more confident and grow!

To date - Bobby has leaned these commands - “Let’s Go”, “Kennel”, “Wait”, “Here”, “Stay”, “Bed”, and “Leave It”. His inmate trainer continues to work with Bobby on “Down”, “Heel”, “Release”, ands “Hurry”.

Week 2

Bobby continues to adjust well to his new routine and appears more comfortable with the facility and his new surroundings. He enjoys his daily walks, playtime, and relaxing with his people.

Training is off to a good start. Bobby is beginning to understand what is expected of him.

There are no health concerns at all.

Bobby’s calm personality has made working with him enjoyable. He has taught his inmate trainer more about patience and consistency than he could ever have imagined.

It’s a great partnership!!

Week 1

Our first group of Greyhounds have arrived! Bobby was assigned a fabulous team who says he is very well behaved and hasn’t given them any problems.

He actually has learned to play fetch with toys. He will run to get it and will bring it back! Then, of course, he waits for you to toss it again!

His inmate trainer enjoys taking Bobby out for walks, playing with him, and learning how to train him. Stay tuned - lots more to come!
