Stunning, Lovable And Sweet

What a ten weeks, Red and her trainers have had! Red is so stunning, lovable and sweet.

This week she showed out on the field. Racing with the other dogs, playing with a plastic yellow egg and a pink rubber ball. Red’s playful side continues to shine. She does enjoy playing with the other dogs, but mostly does her own thing.

Red is very interested in what you may be doing. Especially if you are going into the area of food. You can take her treat bag and hide it down in a bunch of toys or somewhere around the room, then watch her find it.

Red is really great with older people. Her grandmother, (secondary trainer) is an older lady. Red enjoys following her around and spending her days with her.

As the days go by it is sad knowing she is just a few hours from leaving. She will be missed and always remembered. Red brought warmth, love and care back into her grandmother’s life.

Awesome Personality

Red’s trainer said that she has been amazing to spend time with, train and get to know. She may not know how to speak on command but she will get sassy with you. LOL

Her personality is awesome, sweet, funny, playful and loving. At the sight of a treat tote bag she goes crazy. Red acts as if she hasn’t eaten in ages. Her trainer puts a little kibble or treat crumbs/pieces in the bag and lets her have fun getting it out.

Red’s trainer said that she is an early bird. She likes to walk around and see what all is going on. She will pick up a toy and play with it. Red just really does her own thing and whatever she feels like doing.

Red is definitely a hip dog. She enjoys following you around. Her trainer knows that she is going to be great in her new home.

She's A Blast

Red is doing amazing! She is still loving and sweet. She knows she is rewarded with good treats such as peanut butter and fruit in her Secondary trainer’s room. She loves hanging out with her. Red is so cute when she lays down. She will grumble and puff her cheeks, like she is thinking…”oh okay.” When in her kennel, her trainer says she sleeps so much better with a blackout cover.

Red’s trainers are teaching her to “Bounce” this week and they said it is so funny. She tries to bite at the treat in the air and reaches out with her paws trying to brace herself. She will either get better or keep running to a wall to do it… Lol! She is a blast and keeps her trainers laughing.

Playful Girl

Red’s playful active side continues to come out! She has shown more interest in playing and running with the other dogs when outside. She has become fond of Shasta and Dancer. All three of them play really well when outside together.

Red listens very well and is a very smart dog. She knows and has mastered all of her basic commands and has many more tricks to show off. She does try to outsmart you. Once she learns she will get a treat for something, she continues to do it.

Red’s trainer has really enjoyed spending time with her. When Red wants you to give her a snack, she has this look and acts pitiful. All in all Red is amazing!

A True Racer

Red is a true racer! No treat bag needed to get her going. She is always ready to join in on the fun with the other dogs. When it was her group’s turn, she took off, running laps all around the yard with the others. She played with a ball for a moment. Her trainers said it was so nice to see her having fun and playing.

Red is such a great dog. She is very sweet and loving. She likes to just follow you around wherever you go. When she gets super excited she chomps her jaws and smiles while jumping and circling around you.

Doing Greyt

Wow! What a shock with Red’s personality. Her playful side is really starting to come out. Her secondary trainer (Grandma) has spoiled her very much. Their bond is beautiful. She loves to follow her around everywhere.

Red does really well with the other dogs. She hasn’t shown any sign of resource guarding. Show-N-Tell went good. She enjoys the treats that go along with the follow through.. Red knows every one of her basic commands and knows many additional extra tricks such as “Roll Over,” “Kiss,” “Spin,” “Speak” and “Which Hand.” When it comes to her Grandma, she gets spoiled with treats and Kong snacks. Red will just follow her around all over the dorm.

She is doing great!

Toy Collector

Red is so wonderful and loving. She is very smart for sure. She really enjoys walking around the dorm looking for food. Red is such a mess, she acts as if she is starving. She doesn’t mind the attention she gets from all the inmates either.

Red likes to pick up toys here and there and take them to her kennel, but she doesn’t really play with them. She is more of a collector. Do we need to call “Hoarders Anonymous”? LOL

Her most enjoyable time of day is the time spent with her secondary handler. It is fun watching them enjoy each others company. It is like watching a grandmother with their grandchild. Red follows her everywhere she goes, and minds her very well.

Red still doesn’t care to walk around much when outside. She will do her business and then she is done. The other day she did get a burst of excitement and took off around the yard one time. She enjoyed it! Then, she gave this attitude of “okay, I ran now let’s go in.” Such a funny girl. When she is inside she doesn’t relax long. She likes roaming around or following you.

A smart pup she is! Red enjoys to perform at the smell or wave of a tasty treat. She knows all of her basic commands verbally and most of them by hand signals too. Red also knows many extra tricks. She already knows “Shake,” “Show Me Love,” “Speak” and that isn’t even half of them. Has it been mentioned how smart she is? It can’t be said enough about Red.

Super Smart Girl

What a personality Red has! Red is very smart and picks up on the commands rather quickly. For the most part she is very chill. She does like to wander around searching for any food. She doesn’t care to sit or lay around long when out in the day room.

As far as outside goes, she could care less about being outside. It has been cold, so that could be part of it. She has a small spurt of excitement, then is ready to go inside. She shows a small interest in toys and balls.

Red will perform her commands for others. She has become spoiled and thinks that she is to always get a treat. Her trainers are working with Red on her commands without treats. She’s not a fan of doing them without a treat, but wave one in front of her and she will do them all in a blink. The only basic commands that she is having trouble with is “Heel” and “Stay.” She already has so many extra tricks that she has learned as well. She can “Shake,” “Spin” and even “Kiss” but, that isn’t all of them.

She enjoys being loved on and someone sitting with her. She doesn’t mind being in her kennel and she has the stairs down. Her trainers can’t wait to see her personality come out more over the upcoming weeks.

Sweet, Loveable And Relaxed

Upon meeting Red, her trainer was awestruck by her beauty. She has a gorgeous golden red coat and beautiful brown eyes. Red is very sweet, loveable and relaxed right now.

Her trainer can tell that Red’s personality is slowly coming out day by day. She finally played with toys for the first time. Red grabbed one and took it to her kennel to play with it, then went back to get another. She is very smart and food motivated. She has learned just about all of her basic commands within the first few days, plus some extras as well.

Red does not care to walk much when outside. It seems she likes to be outside, but not for long periods of time. She would rather just follow you around with curiosity, wondering what you are doing.

Red is somewhat sociable. She is mainly on a mission looking for food. She may walk up to someone, hoping they have a tasty treat. Red is very quiet. At first she did not want to go in her kennel, but with some encouragement and treats, she enjoys her kennel with no problem.

Her trainer looks forward to the weeks ahead with Red.
