Man's Best Friend

Jules is a shy guy with a strong undercurrent of mystery and loyalty that has drawn his inmate trainer close to him.  His inmate trainer says that dogs like Jules are the reason for the old adage “dogs are man’s best friend”.  His trainer says that Jules is truly one a million.  He believes that training is going really well, but he’s letting Jules set a comfortable pace until his confidence grows in this new environment.  To help build up his confidence his inmate trainer spends half the day with Jules on a leash practicing leash etiquette and showing him that there’s nothing going to hurt him. The other half is spent letting him explore his surroundings on his own terms. He has gotten to where he will venture out to find his inmate trainer if he can’t see him right away.  If he gets scared he will break for the safety of his kennel and shuts the door.  After seeing Jules do this his trainer tied a rag on the door to make it easier for Jules to close and it works, Jules closes his own kennel door!

Jules’s inmate trainer says that he is grateful for the opportunity to play a part in helping Jules find a forever home where he will be loved and cared for.
