Food, Treats, & Retirement

Larry has settled in and seems to enjoy working hard to please his inmate trainer.  He’s been learning “paws up” and “lap” along with his basic commands.  Larry loves food and has figured out that a response means a treat!  He’s trying to figure out why “wait” is so important when his food bowl is just right there within reach, but he’s learning that it’s a sweet reward for being patient.

Larry needed to make an off schedule potty run and woke his inmate up with a bark request.  His inmate trainer took him out and was proud to see that Larry got right to business and didn’t soil his crate!

Every day Larry seems to enjoy doing something different.  His inmate trainer is working to teach Larry to “laydown” and watch T.V., but for some reason he likes to face the T.V. hiney first!  His inmate trainer is trying to make Larry understand that the idea is to turn his eyes to the T.V.

Training is going really well and some extras have been added to keep things fun.  He says that Larry is learning so fast that they may run out of ideas!  Do you have any?
