Amazing Guy

Four weeks down and only six more to go; how did that happen?  Gordy has been testing his boundaries a bit this week.   He knows that when his kennel is opened he’s supposed to wait, but this week he’s been putting one paw out knowing that his trainer is going to make him pull the paw back into his crate.  Sneaky little guy! 

At meal times loses all train of thought at first sight of his food bowl.  They say that happens when it's love at first sight.  His inmate trainer is working to teach Gordy that through sitting and being patient he will earn super yummy rewards.  His inmate trainer says that Gordy is a hard worker and will go the extra mile trying his best to get it right.  His trainer says that Gordy tends to do even better the next day after has time to sleep on it!

As part of his training Gordy and his inmate trainer work on the basics and visit with different people daily.  His inmate trainer believes that Gordy is could make a wonderful therapy dog!
