Starfire enjoyed himself this morning at our inaugural Marietta Farmer’s Market Meet & Greet. He did his share of meetin' and greetin', having the best time throughout the morning. I believe he now has a swarm of admiring fans!

Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 12:21PM Starfire continues to be an excellent boy. He is still getting along extremely well with all my little critters. He likes to watch my kitten and my little dog chase each other around the house as he lays on his bed and never says a word or even moves a muscle. I love coming home from work everyday finding Mr. Starfire lying on his back in his crate when I walk in the door. He's always super excited to get to go outside and walk around the neighborhood and take care of business. It's funny to watch him bounce up and down when it's breakfast or dinner time. I think that might be his favorite part of the day! :) Oh, and he loves him some ear scratches... thems the best!
Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 11:16AM Starfire is doing wonderful, and is getting along very well with the little dog, even the cats! I've had the pleasure of fostering him since Saturday and I must say, I've loved every minute of it! He is so well behaved and loves his toys. He went to work with me at the pet store this past Sunday and was such a good boy all day long. This big boy is going to make an awesome addition to his forever home. :)

He's truly a greyt salesman. Today he met an older couple and really took to the man, leaning on him and gently nosing him for some petting. I think the man was melting, but the lady said they couldn't have a big dog because they travel in a motor home a lot. Well, I couldn't resist telling them about Gilley's Dancing Greyhounds! They couldn't believe they were able to travel with greyhounds, especially more than one of them.
We love being able to have our own little M&G with him everyday. No one can resist that beautiful face and always wagging tail!
Friday, May 1, 2009 at 11:23AM Starfire has been helping us greet folks as they come in with their pets, or coming in to pick up their pets who have stayed with us. He seems to enjoy the company of other dogs and their owners, and being such a big, beautiful guy, he really makes a good impression. He's very playful and very curious. He especially enjoys putting both his front feet in the middle of my keyboard! Still, he's a terrific guy and a lot of fun. He has shown us no issues with other dogs, even with small, fluffy little guys, he never looks a them twice. If he continues like this, he will make a great addition to any home.
