Laci absolutely loves to go for a walk.  She gets so excited when she sees her leash (she can tell something great is about to happen).  She would love the chance to go walking/jogging everyday. 

She relishes the opportunity to take a nap on the couch, the cushions act as perfect pillows for her.  

Laci has been keeping up with her commands (she will do just about anything for a treat).  She is extremely food motivated & doesn't think she should work for free. 

She will make a wonderful addition to any family.  

Laci is a beautiful, super sweet girl.  At Meet & Greet's, Laci will walk up to all the children and give them a big kiss.  She loves children and adults of all ages and hasn't met anyone she doesn't like.  

Laci loves to please and is very food motivated, so doing her commands for treats is right up her alley.  She seems to enjoy learning and is always ready to work.   Of course, after work is over, it's time for some R&R on the sofa. 

This lovely girl is so quiet that she has only barked once, but you can't miss her, she is one tall drink of water.  Laci will make any home a special place, she is a very special girl.

It's been a fast almost 2 weeks. 

Laci certainly is a different dog than she was before participating in the prison program.  She's a much more calm and loveable girl.  She loves to sleep on a couch & will come up to anyone to get rubbed behind the ears.

She went to her first meet & greet today at the PetSmart in Valdosta and did very well.  She wasn't shy with anyone and paid almost no attention to the other dogs in the store.  She seemed only to be interested in the people she saw.

She really enjoys going to the local park and walking the nature trails.  She is coming along very well with her leash walking.  She was a little hard to handle the first time we took her, but she practically a breeze to walk now.

As you can see from her picture she is a beautiful girl and would make a wonderful addition to your family.

Kane's Roz (Laci) is a fun dog, loves people and likes the CCI labs.  She demands attention from you when she wants love.  She is learning how to really play with the toys, squeaking them and running around the dorm with them.  She's very playful when she wants something from her trainer - like pawing at her kennel when it is time to eat.

She is still working on becoming more reliable with her sit, but is doing a great job with learning down from the sit position.  She works well with the second handlers and responds to their commands without hesitation.

Kane's Roz (Laci) is a very sweet little girl.  On her first day, she came over to her trainer and put her head on her shoulder!  Laci loves attention from anyone who will give it.  She gets along well with all of the greyhounds, and enjoys the staff as well.

Laci arrived at the prison a little later than the other greyhounds.  So far, she's been bonding with her trainer and working on kennel and wait.  She is really in the swing of things now.
