Training Updates

Torrid Rose has mastered all of her commands, including a new game - "which paw".  This game involves her sitting in front of her trainer, the trainer puts a piece of kibble in one of her hands while they are behind her back, out of Rose's sight.  When presented with the choice of each hand, she uses her paw to select the hand the kibble is in.  She is very smart and continues to like to learn something new each day.

She's very loving, not afraid of anyone and always plays well with other dogs no matter the breed.  She is very respectful of her trainers and loves to be groomed.

First Training Updates

Torrid Rose is very docile and polite around people and other dogs.  She isn't one to push her way to the front and demand attention.  Instead she quietly stands there and happily takes whatever you give her.  Not much of a runner with her running group, but she does like to play in the dorm with one particular greyhound in the group.  A total dream to groom.

Rose is VERY, VERY intelligent.  She is a problem solver for sure.  The trainer was showing her how to open her crate by pulling a sock tied to the door.  She learned by simply having the trainer put the kibble in the crate and close the door.  Rose figured out after just a few minutes that all she had to do was pull the door open.
