Training Update: Week Four

Oly continues to be his lovable, laid back self. While he has a lot of energy and greets you with a very happy tail wag, his favorite thing to do is to cuddle on his bed with others while they read in the evening. Who knows? Maybe he'll learn to read before he graduates!

Oly has never met a stranger. He loves all people and he is very social. He knows how to come on command and wait. This week we are working on a standing stay, which is very hard for a greyhound to accomplish, but this smart boy should have no trouble.

We're also going to see if he can learn how to "help me" by picking up things his trainer asks him to, like a sock, shoe or book much like an assistance dog might.
