Our annual field trip to Birmingham Race Track to visit our favorite kennel, Southern New England Kennel, and tour the facility. It's very much an educational thing and everyone did learn something about the day in the life of their beloved Greyhound.

Our first Meet & Greet at Earl Smalls Harley Davidson in Marietta as they held their 2nd Annual Paws & Hawgs event! They had live music plus their HOG Chapter had the grill fired up serving awesome burgers and hotdogs all day! There were specials galore all weekend for the Harley crowd! We had a fantastic time and can't wait until we are there again!

Douglasville's largest downtown...family oriented...event, featured 20-30 local restaurants, 40 vendors, 30 sponsors and two performance stages of local talent. Attendance was estimated at over 10,000.

This was a fabulous event hosted by Star 94's, located at the beautiful Suwanee Town Center Park in Suwanee. There was lots of pet vendors, kids activities, pet demonstrations, food vendors, a beer garden, and live music. And tons of dogs of every breed and size. Truly a fabulous event!

The Spring Jonquil Festival is held on the beautiful Village Green in downtown Smyrna, Georgia next to the fabulous Market Village. The festival has a history of over 22 years and featured over 175 hand-made arts & crafts booths, local non-profits, sponsors, puppet shows, live music, plenty of festival foods, and all types of children's activities.

A wonderful day at the best "lawn party" around!! What a great time we had chatting up Greyhound adoption with the folks at the Steeplechase!

One of our dog hauls from the prison to Bremen where we met the hauler to retrieve our prison pups!! It was so good to see them! But better than that, it was great to see their new families meet them for the first time!

The Pace Academy Fall Fair was held October 2, 2010 and was great fun for everyone! There were games and rides for all ages and great shopping to be had at the Street Market. There was a pumpkin patch, an organic farmers market and a cake walk! There was omething for everyone!!

A two day Meet & Greet, November 7-8, at the Woodstock Market and Show. I think everyone attending had a great time!

The group hosted a Meet & Greet at the Dunwoody Place Starbucks on Saturday, November 1st, in appreciation for the dollars they raised for Oly's leg surgery. Thank God no surgery was required, but the funds donated did help pay for some of his medical costs.

The Fall Jonquil Festival showcased arts and crafts by more than 150 artists/crafters from across the country, October 24-25, 2009. We had a wonderful time meetin' and greetin' lots and lots of potential Greyhound adopters.

Held on Saturday, October 17th. Various venders vendors were selling aviation type items. Historic aircraft were on display as well. And lots of food and fun for the entire family

This special Meet and Greet was held at the Harley-Davidson of Cartersville dealership on Saturday, October 3, 2009. Along with the Battle of the Bands, there was plenty of vendors, food, and fun for the entire family. Everyone had a great time!

The Pace Fall Fair, held on Saturday, October 3, 2009, is one of the oldest in the area and one of the largest. More than 9,000 people attend every year. This year’s fair theme was a circus theme, the “Greatest Fair on Earth" and it certainly was. Many kids and parents stopped by to see the Greyhounds and chat about Greyhound adoption. A good time was had by all!

Our annual visit to the Southern New England Kennel at Birmingham Race Course to wash all the Greyhounds in the kennel. This year we washed about 60 Greyhounds. They LOVED it! And we did, too!

A wonderful afternoon spent at Top Dogs Pet Boutique in Kennesaw chatting up Greyhound adoption with potential adopters. We had a great time!

Guided mountain bike rides, time trials, fishing tournament, rock climbing, horse demo, kids craft area, kids hike, animal demostration and more. And we were there promoting Greyhound adoption and our wonderful Second Chance Greyhounds.

On Sunday, May 24, 2009 we had a fun day at Southern New England kennels in Birmingham cleaning the kennels inside and out. The pups now have a very nice, clean home.

A wonderful time spent socializing with some of our new adopters and their Greyhounds, along with some of our original members and their Greyhounds on Saturday, May 9, 2009. Everyone (including the pups) enjoyed some well-deserved ice cream.

A wonderful afternoon of baseball, peanuts, and our Greyhounds, of course, and every other known breed of dog on Sunday, May 3, 2009!! Proceeds from "Bark in the Park" benefit the Bobby Cox "Paws beCause... They are Worth Saving," helping to rescue animals in danger of being euthanized.

We were at The Pet Gallery on Saturday, May 2, 2009, for a special Meet and Greet. We had lots of potential adopters stop in to meet our Greyhounds at this awesome intown pet store.

Our first ever Microchipping Clinic at Paws Atlanta. Proceeds benefit Paws Atlanta and Second Chance Greyhounds. We did chat with several very interested adopters plus raised some funds for the Greyhounds. You can't beat that!
