You don’t have to whisper……

It's no secret that Brandy has a new home and a new name – Gracie.  Gracie has been adopted by a wonderful family and is doing great with her new mom and dad.  Her foster family is so happy that she has found a terrific forever home.  Congratulations Debbie & Dale and Emma on adding Gracie to your family.

Adorable

This past weekend Brandy got to go to Pace Academy for a meet and greet.  She climbed into the back seat of my car and sat down and enjoyed the ride.  She got to meet a lot of nice people and make new friends.  Brandy did great around children.  After we left the meet and greet, Brandy got to make her first trip to a pet store to pick out a new toy.   She’s just so adorable when she snuggles with it.

She is doing well on walks and also enjoys taking breaks lying on the grass.  Being the smart girl she is Brandy heads straight to the kitchen for her doggie treat when she comes back inside.  She loves being loved and gives it right back.  You can’t help but “flip” head over heels for her!

Newly Retired

I just left the track and arrived at my foster home.  My racing name was I See You Flip but you can call me Brandy.   My foster siblings weren't quite sure of me when I got there since I'm a little taller than they are.  It didn't take them long to feel comfortable with me once they realized how gentle I am.

I am a fast learner and pick up on new things quickly.  I know to go to the door when my foster parents ask if I need to go outside and I go to my crate when they say it's time for bed.    When it’s time for them to eat, I lay on my pillow and wait for them to finish.  I'm polite and don’t beg them for their food. I’m a mellow kinda girl who is content just hanging out and sharing the love.  I’m open to new experiences as long as I take it slow.

I'm ok with walking up and down the stairs outside but still not ready to conquer the inside stairs.  I just need a little more time and I know I can make it to the very top!  I have impressed my foster parents with how smart and loving I am.  I know they will miss me when I find my permanent home, but they will be so happy for my new family.
