Come join Patti, Michelle, and Collin for some pet therapy with the patients and residents at this facility. You will so enjoy the experience and your Greyhound will have the best time smoozing with everyone! Please contact Patti beforehand as vaccination records will need to be provided before entering the facility.
August 12 6pm-7pm		Pet Therapy Tift Health Care Nursing Home & Adult Daycare 2002 Tift Avenue N. Tifton, GA 31794 Map It! Come join Nona, Melissa and Ginny for some pet therapy with the patients and residents at this facility. You will so enjoy the experience and your Greyhound will have the best time smoozing with everyone! August 15 3pm-4pm		Pet Therapy New Horizons West Nursing Home 1010 Dawsonville Highway Gainesville, GA 30501 Map It! Come join us for some pet therapy with the patients and residents at this facility. You will so enjoy the experience and your Greyhound will have the best time smoozing with everyone! August 19 6:30pm-8:30pm		Monthly Meeting The Village Cafe Smyrna Market Village 2860 Atlanta Road, Suite C Smyrna, GA 30080 Map It! Join us for our monthly meeting where we provide updates regarding our program, events and fundraising, and discuss upcoming activities. Come and enjoy the comradity, food, and drink!
August 20 5pm-11pm		Meet & Greet Pigs & Peaches BBQ Festival 2753 Watts Drive Kennesaw, GA, 30144 Map It! Come out and meet the Greyhounds of Second Chance Greyhounds at this fantastic BBQ festival! There is wonderful BBQ as well as many arts and crafts booths. There is even a "kids alley" with lots of games for them to do! Come see for yourself!

August 21 12pm-2pm		Meet & Greet Petsmart 1700 Norman Drive Valdosta, GA 31601 Map It! Join Melissa and Nona at this very busy Petsmart as they meet and greet the public and spread the word about Greyhound adoption.
August 28 9am-4pm		Event Dog Wash - Southern New England Kennels 1000 John Rogers Drive Birmingham, AL 35210 Map It! Join us as we head to Southern New England Kennels to wash the Greyhounds. This is the kennel who supplies our Greyhounds for Second Chance Greyhounds. Expect to wash 64 of them!! It's great fun!! Afterwards we will freshen up a bit and then head to our reserved sky box to get lunch and watch a few races, if you so desire.
