Tessa Has Been Sprung!
Monday, January 11, 2010 at 9:48AM Thursday evening I had the pleasure of bringing Tessa, Duchess, ChaChi, and Holly back from Perry. Nona and Melissa had picked them up at the prison that morning and
met me at Priester's for the hand off. What a great bunch of dogs, especially Tessa who I'm fostering.
She is so adorable and lively and she loves stuffies! My goodness, she has picked up every stuffie in my house, has taken it to a different room and subsequently dropped it. She is dying to take them outside, however, we don't allow stuffies outside so I use the "drop" command before letting her out the back door!
This is my first time fostering one of the pups from the prison foster program and I have to say I am really impressed with what Tessa knows. She knows "stay", "drop", "come", "kennel up", "hurry", and a host of other commands we haven't even tried yet!! I'm looking forward to working with her a bit before she will, no doubt, be adopted by a wonderful family. She is quite a gem, as you can see from her picture here. She is the one resting her head on the back of Duchess. Isn't she adorable?
More updates to come. I must get a video of her playing with the stuffies - she is too cute!!
