Training Continues

Reward Donna is Happy, Happy, Happy.  She loves people and has really figured out how to play with toys this past week.  She has even decided that running with the other dogs is a lot of fun too.

While she attends school with her trainer, she is a model student.  She has even made the people who are afraid of dogs like her.  She loves older people especially.  She seems to be drawn to inmates who are older or in wheelchairs.

She gets really excited when she knows you are going out the door.  She wants to see what is next, so her wait command continues to be worked on, as well as her leash manners when it comes to getting ready to go somewhere.

She's not one for rough love, rough housing is not in her vocabulary.  She likes gentle touching, brushing, and baths.  She likes to visit and see new things and gets along great with the other greys.

First Training Updates

Reward Donna's call name is Jersey.  She is a very quiet and reserved little girl.  Jersey is extremely laid back and would rather play with toys than run with the other dogs.  She is a really fun dog and is always wagging her tail.

With her training, Jersey is a very smart dog.  She has picked up on all of her commands very quickly.  She knows all of them including heel, sit, down, wait and stay and climbs the stairs easily.  You can even tell her to relax and she will play alone in her kennel.

The Photo Session

This past Sunday Michelle K. and I drove to Birmingham to take photos of the group going down to the prison on Thursday, March 18th.  Here are a few candid shots of Donna.  As you can tell, she had such a great time!  We did, too!
