Training Update

Cha Chi continues to be a showman as he has found he can stick his head all the way into the toy bin and bob for toys.  Of course he prefers the one at the very bottom.  He also knows how to open the drawer to where the tug toys are kept.  His new thing is to be a cuddler with anyone who is sitting on the floor.

He is perfect with all of his commands.  His trainer has also taught him shake and high five.  He responds to hand signals and verbal commands (in English and Spanish).

Training Continues

He's a LOVER!! Cha-Chi is so happy and is the perfect companion dog.  He loves everyone and thinks he is the center of the universe.  Cha-Chi wants to be with you doing whatever you are doing.  If you're sitting, he wants to have his head in your lap.  If you're running, he wants to be right next to you jogging along.  If you're sitting in the floor, he wants to relax along side of you.  This guy is your buddy.

Cha-Chi is so SMART, he is the first bi-langual greyhound to come out of our program.  He knows all of his commands in both English and Spanish - well except stop - which he will only do in English.  Stop is probably his most impressive command.  He will stop on a dime no matter what he is doing, where he is going, whatever he is up to (even running).  When his trainer tells him to stop, he does.  He has also mastered up, which will make it easier to help get this boy into the car.  He is part of the first advanced class at the facility and he is totally a master student.

Training Update

Crenshaw Delta is now being called Cha Chi.  He is a beautiful boy, full of energy and playful.  He is very loyal to his person and is willing to try anything for you.

Cha Chi is a smart guy.  He is sitting, staying, knows a perfect wait, stop and down.   He has an excellent trainer.  He is doing so well that he will be given some advanced training.  Sounds like a perfect match for both trainer and greyhound.
