Holly's Foster Home

Holly has been with us for two whole days, and she is a delight.  She is responsive, quiet, and is learning to play.  She has spent most of her days in our family room lying on the sofa pillows with a blanket covering her.  She was so relaxed last night (Sunday) that she was snoring loudly .... LOL

My Toy Manchester Terrier was rooting around in her blanket (trying to get it "just right"), and she flipped one end of the blanket onto Holly, who was lying beside Jade's bed.  Holly raised her head, took one look at the blanket and at Jade, and settled back down to sleep.

Whoever adopts this girl will be getting a true lady and a treasure!

Training Update

Holly is a sweet girl that enjoys getting hugs and lots of love.  She likes to play ball a lot and will retrieve as many times as you throw it for her.  Holly prefers quiet one-on-one time with her trainer.

She knows all of her commands plus shake and she's been learning how to come to a heel from a distance.  They are also working on stop as well and increasing her length of time in a stay position.

Training Continues

Holly-girl loves affection and hugs from everyone.  She has discovered that toys were made for shaking and squeaking and is having a blast.

She is doing great on sit, down, down stay, sit stay, and going up and down the stairs, especially when they are outside practicing.  Holly-girl responds to HERE when her trainer calls and they are working on her responding to others.

Training Update

Hollywood Cutie is now Holly-girl.  She's a sweet, quiet girl.  Holly-girl is learning what being loved on is all about.  She is getting lots of extra hugs from her trainer.

When it comes to training, Holly-girl loves to train and is eager to please.  She can sit, down, stay, sit stay, down stay, wait, stairs and stop.  She is currently working with other trainers to ensure she responds to their commands as well.
