Training Updates

She is not real happy about the slippery floors after they were cleaned last week.  Anything shiny on the floor makes her very cautious.  But they've worked on just ignoring these triggers and with patience she is fine.

She doesn't like large groups of dogs or people and really prefers not to play with the puppies.  They have become too rough and tumble for her as they have grown some. 

She loves for you to play with her.  Hide and go seek is her favorite to play in the dorm.  They have taken her toys outside for her to play since the floors are an issue this week. 

Once she gets to know you, she is very loving and friendly.  She wants to be with you.  She may be timid at first, but if you feed her you will make fast friends.

First Training Updates

Crenshaw Bessie is a sweet girl who prefers the quiet of one on one time and not crowds of people.  She is very playful and loving when she is in a quiet place with good footing.  She's not very fond of slippery floors.  Bessie becomes very bonded to one person and looks to them for confidence.

Bessie started out slow on her commands, but is improving every day.  Some days she gets everything quickly and other days are more challenging for her.

Bessie is a thief.  She will take anything that isn't nailed down and hide it somewhere - not always in her crate.  She is being corrected when they catch her, but she should be watched until she knows the rules of the house.
