Training Update

Hope is eager to please with a very funny side.  She can be very playful, but you may not see it at first.  She will cock her head to the side and roll up her eyes as if to say "what, who me?"

Positive reinforcement is the key to Hope's heart.  She knows all of her commands and is working on increasing her time in stay position.

Training Continues

Hope is sweet and very eager to please.  She is reserved and shy in new situations but outgoing once she is familiar with her surroundings.  Hope is excellent with all other dogs, including the CCI labs and the 7 week old puppies.  Hope loves to run and will even get the other dogs excited to run with her by starting a game of tag.  She totally has a playful side when she is outside.

Hope has mastered the stairs but loves running up and down them.  Her trainer is working on her slowing down and placing each foot on each step.  She sits beautifully with a hand signal, downs, waits and is working on lengthening her stay.

Training Update

Oakland Amethyst is now known as Hope.  She is sweet, loving, and eager to please with a mischevious side.  Hope enjoys playing with the other trainers and dogs inside the dorm.  Outside on the puppy field she shines.  She holds her head high, has her ears perked and wags her tail.  Hope even prances along side her trainer during training.  She also enjoys playing with the CCI puppies (10 weeks old).

In training, Hope is exceeding all expectations.  She sits patiently waiting for her food each meal time until she is released to eat.  She can also down, here, heel, wait and is also working on stairs.
